INTERDENTAL DEVICE
A single-use oral delivery device includes a housing unit configured to house a predetermined amount of oral medication, vitamins and or minerals to be applied to an interdental space of a user, and an interdental device configured to be interlocked with the housing unit, wherein the interdental device includes a cap at a top portion for interlocking and sealing with the housing unit, and an applicator tip at a bottom portion for applying oral medication, vitamins or minerals to the interdental space.
Negative pressure wound therapy for treatment of periodontal disease
Disclosed are devices, systems and methods for treating periodontal disease and/or other oral wounds using particularized oral appliances and associated negative pressure systems. The various oral appliances include one or a plurality of surfaces for engagement with various anatomical structures within the oral cavity, where the engagement can include sealing engagement with soft tissue (gingival) surfaces of the upper and/or lower dental arches. Additional features disclosed can further promote healing of regions affected by periodontal pocket formation.
Oral Device with Activating Element
An oral care implement herein may be embodied as an oral device for placement in the oral cavity. The device may include an insert configured for placement in the oral cavity in contact with a wearer's teeth and an activating member configured for placement in the oral cavity and selectively attachable to the insert.
DENTAL STENT
A dental stent for tooth restoration, comprising an acrylic outer shell and a set of metal matrix separator strips partially embedded into an inner silicon bed; a method of manufacturing a dental stent including 3D printing of a model wherein tooth forms of teeth to be restored are individually removable from a remainder of the model; a method of tooth restoration using a dental stent, and a kit of parts comprising a dental stent and a composite resin, and optionally a heater, a light cure unit, and a finishing tool kit.
DENTAL DEVICE FOR THE TREATMENT OF DENTAL ALVEOLI, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME AND KIT
A dental device for the treatment of dental alveoli, comprising a suction element; and a dental impression of a patient which defines at least one sealing surface configured to seal an alveolus of said patient. The sealing surface has a suction hole connected to the suction element in order to create a vacuum in the alveolus. Method for manufacturing a dental device for the treatment of dental alveoli and a kit associated with it.
DENTAL CARE MOUTHPIECE CLEANING SYSTEM
A mouthpiece cleaning device includes a U-shaped mouthpiece skeleton that defines opposing channels to receive a user's teeth therein. The channels each have a respective teeth facing surface, and transducers are disposed along the channels at the respective teeth facing surfaces. UV LEDs are disposed along the channels at the respective teeth facing services. The UV LEDs are interspersed with the transducers.
Breath Elude
An oral hygiene device designed to allow the user to cleanse the breath and kill germs in the oral cavity is disclosed. The oral hygiene device comprises a holder, an enclosure, and one or more breath freshener. The device is a polished plastic product configured to load with the freshener strip in the enclosure. The device is incorporated in the user mouth using the holder comprising a curved tabs fitting between the teeth and gums. The breath freshener via one or more holes in the enclosure configured to dissolve when subjected to the saliva within the mouth and exhibits controlled release of a cleansing chemicals and flavor in the freshener strips in the user mouth.
Dental stent
A dental stent for tooth restoration, includes an acrylic outer shell and a set of metal matrix separator strips partially embedded into an inner silicon bed. A method of manufacturing a dental stent includes 3D printing of a model wherein tooth forms of teeth to be restored are individually removable from a remainder of the model. A method of tooth restoration uses a dental stent, and a kit of parts including a dental stent and a composite resin, and optionally a heater, a light cure unit, and a finishing tool kit.
CONCEALMENT OF HYPOMINERALISED LESIONS
The present invention relates to compositions and uses for reducing the visibility of hypomineralised dental surfaces or subsurfaces, in particular in dental enamel. In one aspect, the invention involves a method of reducing visibility of a hypomineralised dental surface or subsurface, the method comprising (i) contacting the hypomineralised dental surface or subsurface with a liquid composition comprising at least 40% w/v of phosphopeptide (PP)-stabilized amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) and/or amorphous calcium fluoride phosphate (ACFP) at a pH of less than or equal to pH 6; and (ii) subsequently to (i), raising the pH of the liquid composition applied to the hypomineralised dental surface or subsurface to equal to, or greater than, about 9, thereby forming a gel in and/or on the hypomineralised dental surface or subsurface, thereby reducing visibility of a hypomineralised dental surface or subsurface.
AN ULTRASONIC CLEANING DEVICE
Ultrasonic cleaning methods may be enhanced by adding certain particles to a liquid through which ultrasonic waves travel through. Specifically, metal nitrites, metal carbides, and metal oxide particles may be used separately or together, to enhance the cleaning effect. When such nanoparticles are added to a liquid medium, and ultrasonic sound waves propagate therethrough, cavitation bubbles form producing high forces on contaminates which adhere to the object being cleaned. The nanoparticles are carried by microjets on the surface of the object, and further aid in disinfecting and sterilizing the objects surface.
