Injection systems with rotating needle carriage and methods
Injection systems and methods of using the same are described herein. Each injection system may include one, two, or more needles, with each needle being configured to move needle between an injection position and a retracted position to deliver an inoculant. The injection needles may rotate about a carriage axis that extends through the injection axis along which each needle moves when moving between their injection and retracted positions. The injection needles in systems that include two or more injection needles may be advanced from the retracted position to the injection position at the same or different times.
Method and apparatus for delivering fluid droplets onto an open and stationary tray
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for delivering droplets of fluids onto an open tray containing poultry, the tray being stationary. According to the invention, the method comprises the following steps: (a) a movable arm is moved over the tray in translation in a first direction, said arm supporting a first set of dispensing nozzles and a second set of dispensing nozzles, said nozzles of each set being arranged to cover the entire dimension of the tray in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; (b) initially, droplets of at least one first fluid are dispensed by spraying using the first set of dispensing nozzles; (c) and then at least one second fluid, distinct from said at least one first fluid to be sprayed, is dispensed by ejecting individual drops by means of the second set of dispensing nozzles.
System and method for injecting poultry
An injector, injection system, and methods for injecting products to a fowl, in which the injector includes a retention member with at least one hole formed in the retention member, a retention member supporting surface supporting the retention member, and injection needle being movable through the hole. A longitudinal axis of the injection needle and an axis perpendicular to the retention member supporting surface form a vertical angle between 15 and 45.
FACILITY FOR HIGH-SPEED PROCESSING OF NEWLY HATCHED BIRDS
The invention relates to a facility for high-speed processing of newly hatched fowl.
According to the invention, said facility comprises at least one first linear conveyor (10), which defines a conveying axis (11) along which a plurality of processing stations (13) are arranged, at least some of said processing stations (13) being identical so that the fowl of a single first container in motion can receive the same processing by being shared across the various identical processing stations (13), at least each one of said identical processing stations (13) comprising a chute (15) for conveying fowl thus processed to second containers (16), said facility comprising stationary supports for supporting said second containers, which are placed level with a second conveyor (17) located under said first conveyor (10), so that each second container can be moved, when it is full, to said second conveyor (17) in order to be discharged.
Device for administering a fluid
A device for administering a fluid can include a cylinder, a piston connected to a piston rod, and a tensioning device connected to the piston rod. The tensioning device includes a ramp which is rotatable via a motor, a ramp track, and a roller which is in contact with the ramp track and which is mounted rotatably in a driver. The driver can be connected to the piston rod via a joint. In a tensioning procedure, the ramp track is rotated such that the roller runs on the region of inclination as far as the second plateau and the piston is thereby moved to its rear end position. In a dispensing procedure, the ramp track is rotated until the roller runs over a transfer region and, on account of the tensioning, is accelerated toward the first plateau and, as a result, the piston is moved toward the an dispensing end.
SEMI-AUTOMATIC ADJUSTABLE-DOSE SYRINGE
Disclosed is a semi-automatic adjustable-dose syringe, including a syringe cylinder, an adjustment cylinder, a piston sleeve rod, a T-shaped piston adjustment rod, a first spring, an outer pull cap, second springs and a needle break-proof buffer cap. An exterior of a left side of the syringe cylinder is threadedly connected to the adjustment cylinder through mutual engagement; and the adjustment cylinder is internally housed within the outer pull cap, with a sliding connection between an outer wall of the adjustment cylinder and an inner wall of the outer pull cap. The present disclosure can prolong the service life of the syringe by changing and adjusting structures and component combinations of the syringe itself, which effectively reduces wear and waste of components, ensures safe operation and saves time and labor, significantly minimizing physical harm and energy consumption of epidemic prevention personnel.
Method and apparatus for delivering fluid droplets onto an open and stationary tray
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for delivering droplets of fluids onto an open tray (15) containing poultry. According to the invention, the apparatus comprises a stationary working surface, a single arm (16) supporting a plurality of fluid dispensing nozzles, a drive unit for driving the translation of said arm (16), said plurality of dispensing nozzles being connected to at least one fluid supply circuit comprising a fluid reservoir and a pumping unit, a control unit configured to control the drive unit of the arm and to define at least one duration T of travel of the arm (16) above said working surface. The travel time T includes a period of gradual acceleration of said arm (16) outside an area of said working surface occupied by said tray and bringing said arm to a first end of said tray (15) along the first direction at a travel velocity V, a period of constant velocity V when the arm (16) moves above said tray (15), and a period of gradual deceleration of said arm (16) when the latter has passed a second end of the tray (15) along the first direction. The control unit is also configured to control each pumping unit and activate each pumping unit only when said arm is above said tray.
Liquid applicator for delivering vaccines
The invention relates to a liquid applicator, for administering liquids, including vaccines, to animals. In particular, the applicator is useful for delivering liquids to mouths of animals.
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION OF AQUACULTURE VACCINES
A method of delivering fish DNA vaccines is provided, wherein the vaccines are delivered intramuscularly in a plurality of injections.
Systems and methods of preparing and delivering oocyst solutions
The present disclosure provides systems and methods for disrupting the outer membrane of an oocyst in solution and delivering the solution to an animal. The system includes a vessel containing unbroken oocysts in solution, an oocyst processing chamber, and a delivery outlet. The unbroken oocysts are moved from the vessel through the processing chamber and a portion of the oocyst membranes are disrupted releasing sporocysts, the resulting solution is moved from the processing chamber into the delivery outlet where the solution is delivered to an animal. Methods of vaccination, including vaccination against an Eimeria infection, are also provided.
