BUCCAL SWAB DELIVERY SYSTEM
Described herein is a drug product delivery device and method of delivering a drug on a swab. The drug product delivery device may include an applicator platform housed within a rigid housing. The applicator platform may be in the form of a plunger. The foil drug reservoir cap creates a fluid storage chamber disposed between the foil drug reservoir cap and the plunger. A series of fluidic channels carry fluid from the fluid storage chamber to an applicator. A frangible seal is attached to the plunger between the fluid storage chamber and the applicator. The frangible seal blocks a fluid from moving from the fluid storage chamber into the series of fluidic channels. Actuation of the plunger causes the frangible seal to be ruptured, which causes the fluid to exit the fluid storage chamber and enter into the fluidic channels. The fluidic channels carry the fluid to the applicator.

A first system for determining the relative health of a chick having a first moving platform to support a chick, a first image capture device, a first database having a library of digital images relating to healthy and unhealthy chicks and a computer processor in communication with the image capture device and database. A second system for determining the gender of a chick includes a second moving platform, a second image capture device, stimuli directed at the chick to cause the chick to open its wings. The second system also includes a second database having wing patterns of male and female chicks of the breed of the chick on the second moving platform and a second computer processor in communication with the second image capture device and the second database.

The treatment management apparatus may comprise a wireless communication interface configured to receive, from a user system, treatment data representing an animal to be treated and a treatment to be administered; an animal detector configured to detect placement of the treatment management apparatus against a surface of the animal; and an actuation monitor configured to detect actuation of a treatment initiation component to initiate administration of the treatment of the animal; wherein the wireless communication interface is further configured to send, to the user system, administration data regarding the administration of the treatment, wherein the administration data represents one or more events associated with the animal detector and the actuation monitor.
