A three-dimensional electrode-ozone oxidation-electrocatalytic membrane coupled wastewater treatment device, including a circulating fluidized bed reactor. The circulating fluidized bed reactor includes a funnel-shaped internal, a truncated cone, a fiber ball filter, a gas-liquid distribution plate, an inner cylinder, an intermediate cylinder and an outer cylinder. The inner cylinder, the intermediate cylinder and the outer cylinder are coaxial. The inner cylinder is an electrocatalytic membrane assembly; the intermediate cylinder is a gas diffusion electrode; and the outer cylinder is a stainless-steel mesh. A particle electrode is filled between the intermediate cylinder and the outer cylinder, and between the intermediate cylinder and the inner cylinder. The intermediate cylinder is connected to a negative electrode. The inner cylinder and the outer cylinder are connected to a positive electrode. A wastewater treatment method using the device is also provided herein.

A magnet positioning system for positioning magnets inside pipes includes a first stackable paddle that includes slots for accepting magnets and a second stackable paddle that includes a metal component for attracting the magnets and securing the magnets in the slots when the paddles are stacked together. Once stacked together, the paddles are inserted into position inside a pipe and the metal component is removed to release the magnets which move toward, and attach to, the inside wall of the pipe. A fluid conduit is positioned between the magnets using a spacer and a fixing agent permanently secures the magnets, fluid conduit, and spacer in place.

ELECTROCATALYTIC BIO-OIL AND WASTEWATER TREATMENT

An anode, a flow cell including the anode, and a method for electrocatalytic treatment of bio-oil and/or wastewater are disclosed. The anode comprises RuO.sub.2 particles on a titanium support. The method includes flowing a process stream through the flow cell in the absence of added hydrogen, at a temperature of 0° C. to 50° C. and atmospheric pressure, and applying a potential across the flow cell such that the anode is positive with respect to the cathode, thereby electrocatalytically oxidizing compounds in the process stream to produce a treated process stream at the anode and generating hydrogen gas as a byproduct at the cathode.

Related systems for removing contaminants from a solution, and related methods are disclosed.

The invention relates to a device (10) for treating a liquid with a plasma, wherein the device (10) has a high-voltage electrode (20) as well as a liquid-permeable ground electrode device (30). At least in a first region, the wall (62) of the initial flow volume (60) has the ground electrode device (30) such that the initial flow volume (60) is connected to the discharge space (40) in a liquid permeable manner via the ground electrode device (30).
