SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING A MAGNETICALLY TREATED ELECTROLYZED WATER

The present invention relates to systems and methods for cleaning materials, such as flooring and upholstery. In some cases, the systems and methods use an electrolytic cell to electrolyze a solution comprising sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium acetate, sodium percarbonate, potassium carbonate, potassium bicarbonate, and/or any other suitable chemical to generate electrolyzed alkaline water and/or electrolyzed oxidizing water. In some cases, the cell comprises a recirculation loop that recirculates anolyte through an anode compartment of the cell. In some cases, the cell further comprises a sensor and a processor, where the processor is configured to automatically change an operation of the cell, based on a reading from the sensor. In some cases, a fluid flows past a magnet before entering the cell. In some additional cases, fluid from the cell is conditioned by being split into multiple conduits that run in proximity to each other. Additional implementations are described.

The method comprises preparing an electrolyte solution comprising water, at least one carbonate salt selected from: alkali metal carbonate salts, and at least one chloride salt selected from: alkali metal chloride salts and/or alkali earth metal chloride salts. The method further comprises introducing the aqueous electrolyte solution into an electrolytic cell comprising a plurality of boron-doped diamond electrodes. The method further comprises operating a power supply to apply a predetermined voltage to the electrolyte solution to produce an electrolyzed water composition comprising a plurality of active molecular and ionic species with antimicrobial activity.

A wastewater treatment system for treating regeneration wastewater generated by a regeneration process using an acidic aqueous solution for a desalination device for desalting water containing ammonia includes a bipolar membrane electrodialyzer for separating, from the regeneration wastewater containing an ammonia salt produced by reaction between ammonia captured by the desalination device and the acidic aqueous solution or from a solution derived from the regeneration wastewater, an aqueous solution containing an acidic solute that is the same as the acidic aqueous solution as a regeneration acidic aqueous solution. The wastewater treatment system is configured such that the regeneration acidic aqueous solution is used as at least part of the acidic aqueous solution for regeneration of the desalination device.

PORTABLE ELECTROLYZING SYSTEM

An electrolyzing system for electrolyzing a brine solution is provided that includes a housing defining a brine compartment and a fresh water compartment. A first electrolytic cartridge is arranged in the brine compartment and includes an electrically charged electrode. The first electrolytic cartridge includes an inlet in fluid communication with the fresh water compartment and an outlet that is fluid communication with a dispensing system. An electrically powered pump directs fresh water from the fresh water compartment to the inlet of the cartridge. A control system is configured to direct electric power from a power supply to the pump when flow of fresh water from the fresh water compartment to the inlet of the cartridge is detected and configured to stop supplying electric power to the pump when flow of fresh water from the fresh water compartment to the inlet of the cartridge is not detected.
