The present invention relates to a composition in the form of a mixture comprising F-type fly ash, a reactive silicon source, a setting accelerator and a light aggregate with a density of less than 900 kg/m.sup.3 and a mechanical strength of at least 0.08 MPa, and the uses thereof to obtain light and fireproof construction materials.

The present invention relates to fiber cement products comprising a first layer, which first layer is covered by at least one second layer, characterized in that said first layer is the top layer and the first layer material has a density of between about 0.4 and about 0.9 g/cm.sup.3 inclusive, and at least comprises cement and between 1 wt % and 70 wt % (relative to the total dry weight of said first layer material) of a lightweight filler, and said at least one second layer is the bottom layer and covers only one of the main surfaces of the first layer, thereby forming a bi-layered fiber cement product, wherein the second layer material has a density of between about 0.9 and about 1.4 g/cm.sup.3 inclusive, and at least comprises fibers and cement.
IMPROVED FIBER CEMENT PRODUCTS AND METHODS FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF
The present invention relates to fiber cement products comprising a first layer, which first layer is covered by at least one second layer, characterized in that said first layer is the top layer and the first layer material has a density of between about 0.4 and about 0.9 g/cm.sup.3 inclusive, and at least comprises cement and between 1 wt % and 70 wt % (relative to the total dry weight of said first layer material) of a lightweight filler, and said at least one second layer is the bottom layer and covers only one of the main surfaces of the first layer, thereby forming a bi-layered fiber cement product, wherein the second layer material has a density of between about 0.9 and about 1.4 g/cm.sup.3 inclusive, and at least comprises fibers and cement.
CO2 SOLIDIFIED FIBER CEMENT BOARD AND ITS PREPARATION METHOD
Disclosed is a CO.sub.2 solidified fiber cement board and its preparation method. The matrix composition of the fiber cement board prepared in this disclosure is calcium carbonate, which has high compactness, and the crystal form of calcium carbonate is adjusted by adding shell powder to improve the toughness of the matrix, so that the fiber cement board has excellent mechanics and durability performance. In addition, the preparation process does not require high temperature maintenance, and has the characteristics of normal temperature preparation, which creates conditions for the introduction of organic synthetic fibers, so that the organic synthetic fibers can further improve the brittleness of cement fiberboard. While reducing energy consumption, the preparation process can also effectively solve the problem that excessive pressure is easily generated in the fiberboard under high temperature conditions in the existing high-temperature and high-pressure curing process.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN ADDITIVELY MANUFACTURED PRODUCT FROM A MINERAL STARTING MATERIAL BY MEANS OF DIRECT LASER SINTERING, AND LIGHTWEIGHT PART PRODUCED BY MEANS OF SAID METHOD
The invention relates to a method for utilizing mineral materials for additive manufacturing that can be implemented more quickly, more economically and with greater technical simplicity, in comparison with common additive manufacturing, by virtue of controlled expansion in the sintering process by means of a laser source. The entire production process is free of organic materials and allows previously unfeasible end uses in the fields of acoustic insulation, thermal insulation, fire protection, filtration, design objects and lightweight components to be realized. In particular, the invention relates to a method for producing a product by means of 3-D printing or additive manufacturing, wherein an open-pore lightweight part is constructed layer-by-layer, without the use of organic binders or other organic auxiliary agents, from a pulverous mineral starting raw substance of natural origin, which raw substance is obtained without chemical alteration of the solid constituents of the natural material, and wherein, beginning with the second layer, the most recently applied layer is bonded to the surface of the existing body of the lightweight part by means of immediately subsequently performed direct selective laser sintering.

EXPANDED GRANULAR MATERIAL CONSISTING OF MINERAL MATERIAL
The invention relates to a method for producing an expanded granular material from sand grain-like mineral material which comprises a bound blowing agent, for example for producing an expanded granular material from perlite sand, wherein the sand grain-like mineral material is introduced into a feed opening at one end of a furnace shaft, conveyed along a thermal treatment section in a conveying direction, preferably by force of gravity, heated to a critical temperature while being conveyed through the thermal treatment section, starting at which temperature the sand grain-like mineral material plasticizes and begins to expand as a result of the blowing agent, and the expanded granular material is discharged at another end of the furnace shaft. In order to render the expanded granular widely usable, it is provided according to the invention that the sand grain-like mineral material is heated to a second temperature above the critical temperature after being heated to the critical temperature, which second temperature lies below a third temperature, starting at which third temperature the surface of the expanded granular material bursts, and wherein the second temperature is chosen depending on a desired density of the expanded granular material, so that a portion of the blowing agent remains in the granular material in bound form.

The disclosure provides a ceiling tile including a curable coating composition including 10-50 vol. % inorganic binder, based on the total volume of solids in the dry coating composition, wherein the inorganic binder is an alkali metal silicate or an alkaline earth metal silicate and 50-90 vol. % inorganic filler, based on the total volume of solids in the coating composition, wherein the binder and the filler are not the same and the coating is substantially free of an organic polymeric binder. The ceiling tiles have a backing side and an opposing facing side, and a cured coating layer disposed on the backing side of the panel, the backing side being directed to a plenum above the fibrous panel in a suspended ceiling tile, the cured coating layer including the curable coating composition of the disclosure.
