Connective-tissue-based or dermal-tissue-based grafts/implants
The present invention is directed to a composition comprising a matrix suitable for implantation in humans, comprising defatted, shredded, allogeneic human muscle tissue that has been combined with an aqueous carrier and dried in a predetermined shape. Also disclosed is a tissue graft or implant comprising a matrix suitable for implantation in humans, comprising defatted, shredded, allogeneic human muscle tissue that has been combined with an aqueous carrier and dried in a predetermined shape. The composition and/or tissue graft or implant of the invention is usable in combination with seeded cells, a tissue growth factor, and/or a chemotactic gent to attract a desired cell.
Tissue expansion device
A tissue expansion device can be implanted temporarily beneath skin of a patient and removed upon predetermined expansion of overlying tissue. The device can include an expandable shell having a smooth or glossy outer surface and an injection port. The expandable shell can form an expandable chamber and have an anterior portion and a posterior portion. The injection port can be coupled to the anterior portion of the shell and be in fluid communication with the chamber and configured to permit injection of fluid into the chamber from a hypodermic needle. The device can have a plurality of tabs coupled to the posterior portion of the shell having one or more colors or attributes. The device can also include an orientation indicator visible along the anterior portion of the shell for assisting a clinician and orienting the device during the implantation procedure.
PUNCH ASSEMBLY TO FACILITATE HAIR FOLLICLE REMOVAL
Briefly, a punch assembly, such as for removing hair follicles from surrounding tissue, along with methods utilizing the punch assembly, are disclosed. A punch assembly may include a substantially cylindrical body having a proximal end and a distal end, the substantially cylindrical body being formed about a central axis and extending distally from the proximal end. The substantially cylindrical body may include a hair follicle-receiving chamber at least partially defined by an interior wall within the substantially cylindrical body, the interior wall extending distally from the proximal end. The punch assembly may additionally include denticulations arranged at the distal end of the substantially cylindrical body. The denticulations may be beveled in a direction away from the central axis so as to form an outer cutting edge.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HARVESTING AND IMPLEMENTING HAIR GRAFT ON BODY SURFACE WITHOUT USING PRESERVATIVES
The present invention relates to a field of medical and hair transplant. More particularly, the present invention relates to a system and a method for harvesting and implementing hair graft on body surface. The system includes a harvester pointer communicatively connected with the processor, wherein the processor configured to instruct the harvester pointer to trace the marked points in the first area of the body surface of the subject and harvest the hairs through plunging mechanism; and an implanter pointer connected with the trimmer and communicatively connected with the processor, wherein the processor configured to instruct the implanter pointer to catch the trimmed hair graft from the trimmer and implant the hair graft at a particular marked point in the second area of the body surface of the subject through injection mechanism.

Hair implants comprising enhanced anchoring and medical safety features
A hair implant includes: (a) a hair strand anchor including: an anchor body; at least one hair chamber disposed within the anchor body; and at least one tunnel through the anchor body, where the tunnel is free of a hair; and (b) at least one hair strand having a portion thereof retained in the at least one of the hair chamber; wherein the tunnel is configured to support collagen ligature growth after subcutaneous implantation by receiving and retaining collagen ligatures that anchor the hair implant to a hair implant recipient. Also disclosed is a hair implant including an anchor with first and second anchor bodies and at least one bridge connecting the anchor bodies and bridging at least one void between the anchor bodies, wherein the bridge supports and retains collagen ligature growth. One-piece implants are also disclosed, as are anchors, hair restoration and manufacturing methods.
