Method for producing ceramic composite
A method for producing a ceramic composite includes: preparing a sintered body in a plate form containing a fluorescent material having a composition of a rare earth aluminate, and aluminum oxide; and eluting the aluminum oxide from the sintered body by contacting the sintered body with a basic substance, for example, contained in an alkali aqueous solution, and the dissolution amount of the fluorescent material eluted from the sintered body in the step of eluting the aluminum oxide is 0.5% by mass or less based on an amount of the fluorescent material contained in the sintered body as 100% by mass.
SIZED MOLDS OBTAINABLE FROM A MOLDING MATERIAL MIXTURE CONTAINING AN INORGANIC BONDING AGENT AND PHOSPHATIC COMPOUNDS AND OXIDIC BORON COMPOUNDS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION AND USE THEREOF
Sized molds for metal casting are obtained from molding material mixtures on the basis of inorganic bonding agents containing at least one phosphatic compound and at least one oxidic boron compound, especially sized, water glass-bound forms and cores, having at least one refractory base molding material, water glass as inorganic bonding agent and amorphous particulate silicon dioxide and one or more powdery oxidic boron compounds and one or more phosphatic compounds. The invention furthermore relates to a method for producing sized foundry mold bodies and use thereof, in particular for producing cast parts from iron alloys. The sizing is a water-based sizing.
OXIDE SINTERED BODY
An oxide sintered body may include zinc, magnesium, a positive trivalent or positive tetravalent metal element X, and oxygen as constituent elements. The atomic ratio of the metal element X to the sum of the zinc, the magnesium, and the metal element X [X/(Zn+Mg+X)] may be 0.0001 or more and 0.6 or less. The atomic ratio of the magnesium to the sum of the zinc and the magnesium [Mg/(Zn+Mg)] may be 0.25 or more and 0.8 or less.
HOLLOW PARTICLES, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME, THE HEAT-DISSIPATING FLUID COMPOSITION INCLUDING THE SAME
Hollow spherical particles which include: an inorganic particle layer including ceramic particles and conductive carbon-based particles; and a polymer coating layer surrounding the inorganic particle layer, and in which the inorganic particle layer surrounds an empty inner space to form the hollow spherical particles. A method of manufacturing the hollow spherical particles and a heat-dissipating fluid composition including the hollow spherical particles.
Oxide sintered material, method of producing oxide sintered material, sputtering target, and method of producing semiconductor device
The present invention relates to an oxide sintered material that can be used suitably as a sputtering target for forming an oxide semiconductor film using a sputtering method, a method of producing the oxide sintered material, a sputtering target including the oxide sintered material, and a method of producing a semiconductor device 10 including an oxide semiconductor film 14 formed using the oxide sintered material.
Thermal insulation member
A thermal insulation member is directly or indirectly sandwiched between a first object and a second object and thereby suppresses or interrupts heat transfer between the first object and the second object. The thermal insulation member comprises: a first main surface opposed to the first object; and a second main surface positioned on the opposite side from the first main surface and opposed to the second object. The thermal insulation member has a porous structure of ceramic having pores. ZrO.sub.2 particles and different type material exist on surfaces of the ZrO.sub.2 particles form a skeleton of the porous structure. The different type material includes at least one selected out of SiO.sub.2, TiO.sub.2, La.sub.2O.sub.3, and Y.sub.2O.sub.3.
ALUMINUM TITANATE-CONTAINING PARTICLES, AT-CONTAINING GREEN AND CERAMIC HONEYCOMB BODIES, BATCH MIXTURES, AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE
Aluminum titanate-containing particles made up of a conglomerate of multiple partial grains. The aluminum titanate-containing particles are formed by breaking apart ceramic bodies along cracks, which are formed predominantly through the grains, rather than between the grains. Batch mixtures forming the aluminum titanate-containing particles, as well as batch mixtures utilizing the aluminum titanate particles are disclosed. Green bodies, such as green honeycomb bodies having peak intensity ratios (PIRs) in an axial direction of less than or equal to 0.50, ceramic honeycomb bodies, methods of manufacturing green honeycomb bodies, and ceramic honeycomb bodies are provided, as are other aspects.
