BREAST PROSTHETIC DEVICE, FASTENING SYSTEM, AND USES THEREOF
20250268730 · 2025-08-28 ·

An prosthetic device is described for use as an artificial breast, comprising a shell and filler removably disposed within the shell, formed of non-synthetic material. The device is configured for compression fit within a clothing article, to inhibit movement of the artificial breast. The shell comprises a distal side defining a bra cup and a proximal side conforming to the wearer's body. The distal side of the shell comprises an inner felt layer forming the bra cup and an outer cloth layer facing the clothing article. The filler is removable from the shell, and provides form and firmness to the artificial breast, causing compression when worn. The shell flexibly accommodates different amounts of filler. The non-synthetic material has advantageous properties such as anti-bacterial, hypoallergenic, moisture wicking, biodegradable, breathable, and/or thermal regulating properties.

Breast On-Plant Device

A mold, apparatus, and method for providing a realistic simulation of a breast augmentation. The mold is an onlay mold that is additively manufactured with a negative mold of a topography of a native breast on one side and an ideal augmented topography on the opposite side. The mold is adherable to a torso of a patient over a native breast to illustrate a real look and feel of a completed augmentation. The mold may also be positioned within a pocketed brassiere to provide the simulation. The mold is generated from a three dimensional image taken of the patient's torso and breast.

A breast prosthesis includes a cured silicone rubber skin layer having a shape corresponding to a natural breast and defining a cavity therein. A cured silicone substance is disposed in the cavity. In a method of making a breast prosthesis, a mold that defines a breast-shaped cavity therein is generated. A silicone rubber skin material is applied to the cavity. The silicone rubber skin material in the cavity is cured to form a skin layer. A low-oil silicone gel or a no-oil silicone gel is injected into the cavity inside of the skin layer. The low-oil silicone gel or a no-oil silicone gel is cured so as to generate the breast prosthesis. In another method of making, a barrier layer is applied to the skin layer and a silicone oil is injected into the cavity inside of the barrier layer prior to curing.

Breast prosthesis processing system

This application example provides a breast prosthesis processing system, which includes a scanner, a data processing device, a prosthesis processing device, and a printing device. The scanner is used to scan the human body, obtain torso scan data containing images of a normal breast and the residual part after mastectomy, and send it to the data processing device. The data processing device, in response to input, marks feature points on the residual part image, mirrors them, and generates mirrored feature points. The prosthesis processing device then processes the prosthesis based on the mirrored feature points, and the printing device prints the processed prosthesis. This system aims to improve the accuracy and efficiency of breast prosthesis production, ensuring a better fit and aesthetic outcome for users. The integration of scanning, data processing, and printing technologies streamlines the entire process, providing a more personalized and precise solution for breast prosthesis manufacturing.

PROCESS FOR PRODUCING AN ANATOMICAL PROSTHESIS COMPUTER-AIDED THREE-DIMENSIONAL DESIGN
20260020967 · 2026-01-22 · ·

The invention relates to a method of producing an anatomical prosthesis made of flexible synthetic material by computer-aided three-dimensional design on the basis of a first digital volumetric scanscan obtained by three-dimensional digitisation performed by three-dimensional surface scanning of an envelope of the volume of a part of the body of a patient before ablation of an anatomical part to be replaced by the anatomical prosthesis, and of a second digital volumetric scan obtained by three-dimensional digitisation carried out by the same technique of the same part of the body of the patient after ablationablation of the anatomical part to be replaced by the anatomical prosthesisablation. In the method for producing an anatomical prosthesis, a digital volumetric representation of an envelope of the volume of the anatomical prosthesis is obtained from the superposition of the first and second digital volumetric scans in order to reproduce identically an envelope of the anatomical part to be replaced by said anatomical prosthesis.

Surface Texturing of Silicone Elastomer Using Polymeric Bags
20260027760 · 2026-01-29 ·

In a method of applying a desired texture to a surface of a silicone elastomer, an uncured silicone elastomer is applied to at least one side of a polymeric film. At least one side of the polymeric film has a complementary texture that is complementary in shape to the desired texture. The uncured silicone elastomer is cured while it is in contact with the at least one side of the polymeric film so as to form a cured silicone elastomer. The polymeric film is removed from the cured silicone elastomer so as to expose the desired texture on the surface thereof. The flexible polymeric film can be a bag placed into a breast prosthesis mold. The bag includes at least one interior surface with the complementary texture. The bag is removed from the cured silicone elastomer to expose the breast prosthesis having a textured surface.
