PEPTIDOMIMETICS FOR THE TREATMENT OF CORONAVIRUS AND PICORNAVIRUS INFECTIONS
Compounds, compositions and methods for preventing, treating or curing a coronavirus, picornavirus, and/or hepeviridae virus infection in human subjects or other animal hosts. Specific viruses that can be treated include enteroviruses. In one embodiment, the compounds can be used to treat an infection with a severe acute respiratory syndrome virus, such as human coronavirus 229E, SARS, MERS, SARS-CoV-1 (OC43), and SARS-CoV-2. In another embodiment, the methods are used to treat a patient co-infected with two or more of these viruses, or a combination of one or more of these viruses and norovirus.
Oil soluble taggants
A process for detecting oil or lubricant contamination in the production of an article by adding a Stokes-shifting taggant to an oil or lubricant of a machine utilized to produce the article or a component thereof, irradiating the articles produced with a first wavelength of radiation, and monitoring the articles for emission of radiation at a second wavelength. The taggant can be in the form of a composition containing a Stokes-shifting taggant, which absorbs radiation at a first wavelength and emits radiation at a second wavelength, different from said first wavelength, dissolved or dispersed in an oil or lubricant.

Chemical compounds
The invention is directed to substituted pyrrolidine derivatives. Specifically, the invention is directed to compounds according to Formula III: ##STR00001##
wherein A, B, L.sup.1, L.sup.2, L.sup.3, R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, R.sup.9, R.sup.10, R.sup.30, Y.sup.1, Y.sup.2, z.sup.2, z.sup.4, z.sup.5, and z.sup.6 are as defined herein, and salts thereof.
The compounds of the invention are inhibitors of the ATF4 pathway and can be useful in the treatment of cancer, pre-cancerous syndromes and diseases associated with activated unfolded protein response pathways, such as Alzheimer's disease, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, ischemic stroke, stroke, diabetes, Parkinson disease, Huntington's disease, Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease, and related prion diseases, progressive supranuclear palsy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, myocardial infarction, cardiovascular disease, inflammation, fibrosis, chronic and acute diseases of the liver, chronic and acute diseases of the lung, chronic and acute diseases of the kidney, chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), neurodegeneration, dementia, cognitive impairment, atherosclerosis, ocular diseases, arrhythmias, in organ transplantation and in the transportation of organs for transplantation. Accordingly, the invention is further directed to pharmaceutical compositions comprising a compound of the invention. The invention is still further directed to methods of inhibiting the ATF4 pathway and treatment of disorders associated therewith using a compound of the invention or a pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of the invention.
