Handle mechanism and functionality for repositioning and retrieval of transcatheter heart valves

Improved catheter devices for delivery, repositioning and/or percutaneous retrieval of percutaneously implanted heart valves are described, including a medical device handle that provides an array of features helpful in conducting a percutaneous heart valve implantation procedure while variously enabling radial expansion or contraction and/or lateral positioning control over the heart valve during the medical procedure.

Stent delivery catheter with fine thumbwheel control and fast crank handle

Various embodiments for a stent delivery device that utilizes a first mode of actuation for slow retraction of an outer sheath and a second mode of actuation for fast retraction of the outer sheath during delivery of a self-expanding implantable device such as a stent or stent graft.

Replacement heart valve delivery device

A medical device system may include a delivery device including an outer sheath and an inner shaft having a coupler fixed to a distal end of the inner shaft, and a replacement heart valve implant releasably attached to the coupler, the replacement heart valve implant including an expandable anchor member and a plurality of locking mechanisms configured to engage with the coupler. The delivery device may include a plurality of collars configured to secure the coupler to the plurality of locking mechanisms. The delivery device may include a stop element configured to selectively prevent disengagement of the plurality of collars from the plurality of locking mechanisms.

Medical device delivery systems

Medical device delivery systems, and related methods and components, are disclosed.

CATHETER SYSTEM FOR INTRODUCING AN EXPANDABLE STENT INTO THE BODY OF A PATIENT

This disclosure relates to a catheter system for introducing a heart valve stent into the body of a patient. The catheter system includes a catheter tip having a seat portion for accommodating the stent in its collapsed state and a stent holder for releasably fixing the stent, wherein the seat portion is constituted by a first sleeve and a second sleeve, said sleeves being moveable relative to each other and relative to the stent holder, and a catheter shaft for connecting the catheter tip to a handle.

APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLED HEART VALVE DELIVERY

A prosthetic implant delivery assembly can include a prosthetic implant and an elongate catheter. The prosthetic implant can include an expandable stent portion having a longitudinal axis extending from a first end portion of the stent to a second end portion of the stent. The catheter can include a longitudinal axis extending from a proximal end portion of the catheter to a distal end portion of the catheter and a plurality of arms extending axially from the distal end of the catheter. The first end portion of the stent can be releasably and pivotably coupled to at least one the arms of the catheter such that the stent can pivot about the at least one of the arms so that the longitudinal axis of the stent is tilted relative to the longitudinal axis of the catheter.

A system for delivering an implant within a patient is disclosed. The activation of the heater coil causes the degradation, melting or reduction of a component that brings the heater coil into or out of electrical contact with another component, or causes the individual loops of the coil to contact each other, thereby resulting a notable change in resistance in the circuit supplying the heater coil with electricity. A core wire terminates prior to the distal end of the device, allowing for greater flexibility.

The present disclosure relates generally to medical implant devices for use within a patient's body and, more particularly, relates to systems and methods for resheathing vascular devices. In some embodiments, a stent delivery system includes a stent expandable from a compressed configuration to an expanded configuration. The stent has a proximal end and a distal end and an anchoring element having a proximal portion and a distal portion, wherein the anchoring element engages the stent in the expanded configuration.

Stent delivery device

The present invention relates to a stent delivery device having: a first support rod into which a first movable body is inserted; a fixed magnet; and a second support rod into which a second movable body is inserted, wherein a first driving magnet included in the first movable body and a second driving magnet included in the second movable body rotate relative to each other by means of the control of an external magnetic field at a predetermined angle around an axis in a first direction with respect to the fixed magnet, thereby separating a first coupling piece and a second coupling piece from a first coupling groove and a second coupling groove and enabling a stent to unfold.

The present invention relates to devices, systems and methods for implanting a radially expandable endoluminal stent. In certain aspects, the devices, systems, and methods of the present invention include a radially expandable endoluminal stent mounted on a delivery tube and having a distal end and a proximal end. A first retention element is also mounted on the delivery tube at or adjacent to the distal end of the expandable endoluminal device, and a second retention element is mounted on the delivery tube at or adjacent to the proximal end of the expandable endoluminal device. Expansion of the first and/or second retention elements reduces or prevents migration of the stent during and immediately after stent deployment.
