An interface system includes a support belt, a strap assembly, and a frame system. The frame system includes a first frame member and a second frame member. The first frame member and the second frame member each respectively have an upper attachment portion configured to have an assistive device attached thereto at a first shoulder mount assembly and a second shoulder mount assembly, respectively. The first frame member and the second frame member are each respectively connected to the strap assembly and extend downward contouring laterally and connecting to the support belt. The first frame member and the second frame member contour laterally in opposed directions. The first frame member is connected posteriorly to the second frame member through a pair of hinge arms joined at a pivot connection.

Muscle or joint support article with a strap

The present application generally relates to support articles and methods of making and using them. The support articles of the present disclosure provide compression and/or stabilization of sore joints of muscles. In some embodiments, the compression and/or enhanced stabilization is provided, at least in part, by one or more straps. In some embodiments, the support articles also include one or more reinforcing portions. In some embodiments, the support articles can easily be applied by a non-trained user and can be worn in many conditions (including, for example, in the shower or during exercise) for up to three days. The support articles have a relatively slim profile and are thus discreet such that they can be worn under clothing without being noticeable.

A system for correcting scoliosis, the system comprising: a bone screw configured to be screwed into a bone having: an exterior casing; a head having interior threads; a distalmost tip configured to be driven into the bone; a shaft extending between the head and the tip, the shaft having exterior threads; a magnetic ball; an interior cavity within the bone screw configured to house the magnetic ball; a cap having: a top end having a recess configured to receive a means for driving the bone screw into the bone; and a bottom end having cap threads; wherein an association of the cap threads with the interior threads causes the cap to be sealed to the head, and thus causes the magnetic ball to be fully encased within the bone screw, such that no portion of the magnetic ball is exposed outside of the exterior casing; and a correction abacus.

Device for reducing anterior pelvic tilt and a method for its use
11511149 · 2022-11-29 ·

An exercise device and a method for its use to aid in the correction of Anterior pelvic tilt. A base has an upper support and a lower support. The base device is strapped around a user's stomach and connected to a rope. The rope passes through the user's legs and is attached to a weight holder behind the user. As the user walks forward, the weight holder is dragged along the floor and the force of the weights on the weight holder pressed the base against the user's stomach and aids in proper alignment of the pelvic region.

Scoliosis brace

This invention relates to a three-dimensional scoliosis support system capable of providing pain relief and improvement of the spinal balance in scoliosis patients with different curve types. The disclosed bracing system is a tension-based scoliosis orthosis that comprises an rigid back panel. The three de-rotational supports pads of the back panel are connected to each other, providing facilitation or restriction of certain movements of human spine in the three different anatomical planes, i.e., coronal, sagittal and transverse planes. This scoliosis brace includes inelastic straps connected to the de-rotational supports/pads of the back panel, and the bracing system has different sizes and it can be fitted and adjusted accordingly with scoliosis curve type and patient characteristics.

MULTIPOINT ANGLED FIXATION IMPLANTS FOR MULTIPLE SCREWS AND RELATED METHODS

Bone anchor assemblies and related methods are disclosed herein that can provide for improved fixation of a primary bone anchor. A bone anchor assembly can include a wing with a distal portion that can define a plurality of auxiliary bone anchor openings. Each auxiliary bone anchor opening can receive an auxiliary bone anchor that can augment fixation of a primary bone anchor of the bone anchor assembly. The plurality of auxiliary bone anchor openings can be oriented such that, when the wing is coupled to a primary bone anchor assembly of a vertebral level in a first configuration, at least one auxiliary bone anchor can be driven to extend across a facet plane of the vertebral level and, when coupled in a second configuration, each auxiliary bone anchor received within the wing can be driven to conform to the vertebral level.
