Panel attachment and circumference adjustment systems for an orthopedic device
A spinal orthosis includes posterior panels arranged with a flat spinal curvature to create a reverse three-point pressure system to the spine. The reverse three-point pressure system relieves pressure on the posterior side of the vertebrae beneficial for certain indications. Various arrangements allow for securing the posterior panel to the spinal orthosis. The spinal orthosis includes a belt member length adjustment system including belt members having end portions reducible in length and a belt panel adapted to secure to the end portion of the belt member reduced in length to form at least in part a belt circumference of the spinal orthosis.
Orthopedic back brace
Orthopedic braces and associated methods are described for treatment of lower back injuries and chronic back pain. An orthopedic brace may include a pair of back panels, a pair of front panels, and a closure system. A lateral end of each front panel is releasably coupleable to a lateral end of each back panel at a desired angle. A ventral end of each front panel includes an attachment provision configured to allow one of the front panels to releasably attach to the other of the front panels generally over an abdomen of a wearer. The brace also includes a pocket on the ventral end of at least one of the front panels, the pocket configured to temporarily receive a hand of the wearer to aid in donning the orthopedic brace.
Lumbar Pillow And Lumbar Pillow Set
A lumbar pillow of height 9 to 11 cm has outer and inner cushioning members, with a hollow space formed in the outer cushioning member. The inner cushioning member has an identical cross-sectional shape as the hollow space. The load X for the user having the lumbar pillow placed under the user's lower back equals a value obtained by multiplying the user's weight by a coefficient 0.59. A preferable range of the amount of displacement against the load is defined. The comfort of the lumbar pillow may be determined on the basis of sensory evaluation including evaluation of the texture during use, and the lumbar pillow can be used for a long period of time. The physical properties may be visualized by providing a plurality of settings to provide a substantially straight load-displacement line, enabling any user to choose a suitable pillow regardless of race, gender, and weight.
External structural brace apparatus
An external structural brace apparatus for supporting a user in a semi standing position on a surface includes first and second support extension beams that to attach to the surface, also included is a channel having a base with first and second legs, wherein the first and second legs extend in the same direction from opposing sides of the base, the first leg is affixed to the first support structure and the second leg is affixed to the second support structure, the channel can be lockably positioned along the first and second beams. In addition, a saddle seat with a midpoint extension portion, the saddle is attached between the first and second legs and positioned such that the midpoint extension extends opposite of the base, wherein operationally the user partially rests their buttocks on the saddle and leans their back against the base to assume a semi supported standing posture.

Core training suit for scoliosis
A core muscle strengthening suit for scoliosis is described. The suit uses pieces of material constructed and assembled to transfer force generated by the wearer while walking to rotate the wearer's trunk in the direction of an existing axial twist to exercise and strengthen countervailing muscles in an attempt to maintain a normal gait. The resulting stronger rotational muscles persist in pulling the wearer's spine into alignment when the suit is removed.
Shoulder Brace Device
A shoulder brace device includes: a torso band, an arm band, and a brace mechanism, such that the brace mechanism is configured to connect to the torso band and the arm band; wherein the brace mechanism includes a ball joint assembly, such that the shoulder brace device enables free range of movement; wherein the brace mechanism can be locked in place or tightened for reduced range of movement.
BODY SUPPORT DEVICE
A body support device includes a body attachment portion having a first side and a second side, the first side including a plurality of receiving channels, and a leg assembly including an elongate member having an elongate body, a first end having a coupling interface configured for releasable attachment with the body attachment portion and a second end extending from the body attachment portion, wherein the coupling interface includes a hinge assembly having a first hinging portion and a second hinging portion, and wherein the second hinging portion is configured for pivotal movement such that the elongate member is configured for movement between extended and retracted positions.
REHABILITATION DEVICE TO CORRECT POSTURE
A device and corresponding method to position a patient’s shoulders and hips into a proper posture alignment for neuromuscular re-education and rehabilitation is disclosed. The device may include a base for supporting a back of a patient, the base extending along a length in a longitudinal direction and a width in a lateral direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The device may include a first adjustable pad and a second adjustable pad opposite the first adjustable pad, and each of the first and second adjustable pads may be configured to independently move towards and away from the base in a vertical direction thereby urging respective shoulders of the patient against the base. The device may further include an adjustable strap configured to surround the waist and/or hips of the patient and thereby urge the patient against the base.
BACK MOBILIZER
A therapeutic back mobilizer harness that transmits a user-applied PA force to one or both sides of the spinous process at a specific spinal segment, to improve alignment and decrease pain. The harness includes a contact member, a belt that retains the contact member, and a pull system connected to the belt. A user pulls forward on handles of the pull system to apply the PA force.
