A therapeutic garment for treatment of over-shunting headaches and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, the therapeutic garment includes a waistband and an abdominal portion that extends from the waistband to encircle the abdomen and hips from the groin to the costal margin of a person wearing the therapeutic garment. A binder portion, having open and closed positions, is coincident to the abdominal portion. In the closed position, the binder distends the epidural venous plexus of the person wearing the therapeutic garment. A closure mechanism is configured to selectively alternate the binder between the open and closed positions. The therapeutic garment may further be fashioned into a brief, a tank top, or include leg extensions.

A body support device includes a body attachment portion having a first side and a second side, the first side including a plurality of receiving channels, and a leg assembly including an elongate member having an elongate body, a first end having a coupling interface configured for releasable attachment with the body attachment portion and a second end extending from the body attachment portion, wherein the coupling interface includes a hinge assembly having a first hinging portion and a second hinging portion, and wherein the second hinging portion is configured for pivotal movement such that the elongate member is configured for movement between extended and retracted positions.

An endoscopy sigmoid support apparatus that includes a primary wrap sized for placement around a subject's lower abdomen. A closing mechanism is provided at the end of the primary wrap to secure the primary wrap around the abdomen of the subject by attaching a first end of the primary wrap to a second portion of the primary wrap. A strap extends from the primary wrap and is configured to extend across at least a portion of the primary wrap and to fasten to a third portion of the primary wrap to adjust the amount of pressure applied by the endoscopy sigmoid support apparatus.

An endoscopy sigmoid support apparatus that includes a primary wrap sized for placement around a subject's lower abdomen. A closing mechanism is provided at the end of the primary wrap to secure the primary wrap around the abdomen of the subject by attaching a first end of the primary wrap to a second portion of the primary wrap. A strap extends from the primary wrap and is configured to extend across at least a portion of the primary wrap and to fasten to a third portion of the primary wrap to adjust the amount of pressure applied by the endoscopy sigmoid support apparatus.

Disclosed herein is a pannus support device that includes a pannus pouch configured to receive an abdominal panniculus of a wearer that is extending to cover at least a portion of the thigh, a shoulder support structure, and at least one strap connecting the pannus pouch to the shoulder support structure. The shoulder support structure, the at least one strap and the pannus pouch are configured to distribute the weight of the abdominal panniculus to the shoulders of the wearer and off at least the portion of the thigh of the wearer. Further disclosed is a system including a removable pannus pouch liner, and a method of distributing the weight of the abdominal panniculus.

Disclosed herein is a pannus support device that includes a pannus pouch configured to receive an abdominal panniculus of a wearer that is extending to cover at least a portion of the thigh, a shoulder support structure, and at least one strap connecting the pannus pouch to the shoulder support structure. The shoulder support structure, the at least one strap and the pannus pouch are configured to distribute the weight of the abdominal panniculus to the shoulders of the wearer and off at least the portion of the thigh of the wearer. Further disclosed is a system including a removable pannus pouch liner, and a method of distributing the weight of the abdominal panniculus.

An integrated ostomy garment is disclosed. The garment includes a first upper layer having a shoulder portion and an internal pocket on the front side of the first upper layer. The internal pocket is capable of supporting an ostomy bag when the garment is worn and is accessible externally via side openings in the side seams of the first upper layer. The garment further includes a second upper layer connected to the first upper layer, also having a shoulder portion, as well as a lower portion. The garment further includes a waist portion connected to the second upper layer and the lower layer, which includes one or more apertures for accessing the wearer's stoma and through which the wearer's ostomy bag is placed when the garment is worn. The waist portion may further include one or more retention elements for supporting the ostomy bag, and may function as hernia belt.

An integrated ostomy garment is disclosed. The garment includes a first upper layer having a shoulder portion and an internal pocket on the front side of the first upper layer. The internal pocket is capable of supporting an ostomy bag when the garment is worn and is accessible externally via side openings in the side seams of the first upper layer.
