The system includes: a bench, including an adjustable back rest that is adjustable to every angle from 90 degrees horizontal to 90 degrees vertical, wherein the bench is in contact with a frame, wherein the frame includes one or more mechanisms by which the bench is contacted with the frame and one adjustable angle unilateral traction arm that adjusts from 55 degrees to +55 degrees rotating around the x-axis, and wherein the one adjustable angle unilateral traction arm is connected to a winch mounting arm, and wherein a winch is connected to the winch mounting arm, and wherein the winch is operably connected to a crossbar, and wherein a harness that is capable of fitting underneath a person is connected to the crossbar.

DISTRACTION FRAME FOR EFFECTING HIP DISTRACTION

A distraction frame for use with a surgical table, wherein the surgical table comprises a base for positioning on a floor, the distraction frame comprising: a table mount for fixation to the base of the surgical table; at least one horizontal strut mounted to the table mount; at least one vertical strut mounted to the at least one horizontal strut; and at least one distraction mechanism mounted to the at least one vertical strut, wherein the at least one distraction mechanism is configured for connection to a limb of a patient and for applying a distraction force to the limb of the patient; wherein the table mount is configured to transfer to the floor a force moment imposed on the table mount when the at least one distraction mechanism applies a distraction force to a limb of a patient.

ADJUSTABLE CERVICAL TRACTION ASSEMBLIES FOR PERSON SUPPORT APPARATUSES

A cervical traction assembly for use with a patient support apparatus includes an adjustment carriage track member including a connecting bracket assembly that releasably connects to a mount support member of the patient support apparatus. The adjustment track member includes a track body including a pair of opposing sidewalls that are spaced-apart from each other to define an elongated channel therebetween. Each sidewall includes a guide track that extends along a length of the respective sidewall. A rope angle adjustment carriage is located within the channel. The rope angle adjustment carriage includes a first track engagement member that is received by one of the guide tracks of one of the sidewalls and a second track engagement member that is received by another of the guide tracks of another of the sidewalls. The first track engagement member has a locked configuration that inhibits movement of the rope angle adjustment carriage along the channel and an unlocked configuration that allows movement of the rope angle adjustment carriage along the channel.

Apparatus and method for distracting the hip joint

Apparatus for distracting the hip joint of a patient, said apparatus comprising: a perineal post for engagement with a leg of the patient, said perineal post comprising a first portion and a second portion, wherein said first portion is configured for mounting to a table, and further wherein said second portion is movable relative to said first portion so as to change the geometry of the perineal post relative to a patient supported on the table.
