MUSCLE OR JOINT SUPPORT ARTICLE WITH A STRAP
The present application generally relates to support articles and methods of making and using them. The support articles of the present disclosure provide compression and/or stabilization of sore joints of muscles. In some embodiments, the compression and/or enhanced stabilization is provided, at least in part, by one or more straps. In some embodiments, the support articles also include one or more reinforcing portions. In some embodiments, the support articles can easily be applied by a non-trained user and can be worn in many conditions (including, for example, in the shower or during exercise) for up to three days. The support articles have a relatively slim profile and are thus discreet such that they can be worn under clothing without being noticeable.
HAND POSITIONING SYSTEMS
An apparatus for positioning a human hand; the apparatus is designed to assist stroke victims or individuals with no or limited use of their hands. It allows for better airflow to the palm and fingers, keeps hands dry, and reduces collection of dirt, oil, odor-causing germs, etc. from collecting in the palm region. The device may consist of two cylindrical tubes secured together with bands and to the hand with a simple-to-adjust strap.
Foot-therapy and toe-aligning device
Described is an exercise tool. More particularly, it is a therapy and exercise tool specifically devised as a foot-therapy and toe-aligning device to align, separate, and stretch toes. The foot-therapy and toe-aligning device comprises a frame with a plurality of posts connected with the frame. The device is formed of an elastic material such that a user may place at least one of the plurality of posts between a user's toes and pull the post to stretch and elongate the post between the toes. Upon release, the elastic material of the post causes the post to attempt to return to its original shape, thereby causing it to expand out and conform its shape to fit snugly against the user's toes. Additionally, the elastic material allows the toe posts to be positioned and maintained at numerous locations between the user's toes for customizable positioning between the toes.

System for designing and fabricating a customised device
Disclosed herein are a method and system for producing a digital model of a customised device, comprising the steps of: importing a first digital file of a base part; importing a second digital file of a target shape; determining a warping interpolation function based on source point positions associated with the base part and target point positions associated with the target shape; and applying the warping interpolation function to the points of said base part to generate a model of said customised device.
SECUREMENT STRIP WITH ENHANCED THICKNESS
The instant invention relates to a multipurpose glueless securement means for fastening/sealing applications which traditionally are accomplished by the use of a disposable adhesive bearing tape/or a disposable tape utilizing mechanical fastening devices. More particularly, the invention relates to the use of a high tensile strength polyvinyl chloride (PVC) strip which possesses self-adhesive properties and can be reused virtually indefinitely. The elongated rectangular strips of tape are comprised of 14.1 to 16-gauge double pressed polished PVC. This thickness provides enhanced strength. Due to the unique chemical properties of the invention it has a wide range of useful applications from traditional sealing or binding applications to applications involving contact or application with external skin surfaces.
Thumb Brace
A thumb brace comprising a glove having a thumb portion disposed between a palm side and a back side and comprising a first attachment region positioned adjacent a base of the thumb portion and a second attachment region positioned on the back side of the glove; a first elastic strap having a first end, a mid-portion, and a second end, wherein the mid-portion is disposed within a cradle of the glove between the thumb portion and an index finger portion of the glove, the first end is releasably attached to the first attachment region, and the second end is releasably attached to the first attachment region, whereby the first strap extends a distal end of a thumb metacarpal bone of a user of the brace; and a second elastic strap having a first end, a mid-portion, and a second end, wherein the first end is attached to the palm side of the glove and the second end is releasably attached to the second attachment region, whereby the second strap reduces a proximal end of a thumb metacarpal bone of a user of the brace.
Cool finger system
A thermal digit wrap system includes a thermal digit wrap assembly having a first edge having at least one loop mated fastener strip, a second edge, a third edge having at least one hook mated fastener strap, a fourth edge; a top side; a bottom side; and an interior volume having at least one cooling gel located between the top side and the bottom side. The thermal digit wrap assembly is structured and arranged to enable it to act in a capacity of a splint and immobilizes an injured digit. The thermal digit wrap system provides an isolated cold-pack via cooling gel to reduce swelling and pain following an injury to the digit.
