NME INHIBITORS AND METHODS OF USING NME INHIBITORS

The present application discloses inhibitors of NME family of proteins.

Peptides and combination of peptides for use in immunotherapy against epithelial ovarian cancer and other cancers

The present invention relates to peptides, proteins, nucleic acids and cells for use in immunotherapeutic methods. In particular, the present invention relates to the immunotherapy of cancer. The present invention furthermore relates to tumor-associated T-cell peptide epitopes, alone or in combination with other tumor-associated peptides that can for example serve as active pharmaceutical ingredients of vaccine compositions that stimulate anti-tumor immune responses, or to stimulate T cells ex vivo and transfer into patients. Peptides bound to molecules of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC), or peptides as such, can also be targets of antibodies, soluble T-cell receptors, and other binding molecules.

CANCER VACCINES TARGETING MUC16 AND USES THEREOF
20220111026 · 2022-04-14 ·

Disclosed herein are nucleic acid molecules comprising one or more nucleic acid sequences that encode a modified consensus MUC16 antigen. Vectors, compositions, and vaccines comprising one or more nucleic acid sequences that encode a modified consensus MUC16 antigen are disclosed. Methods of treating a subject with a MUC16-expressing tumor and methods of preventing a MUC16-expressing tumor are disclosed. Modified consensus MUC16 antigen is disclosed.

Disclosed are methods and compositions comprising glycopeptides obtained from gastrointestinal sources that have superior microbiota effects. Such compositions are advantageous for food stuff, including infant formulations.

ANTI-GLYCO-MUC1 ANTIBODIES AND THEIR USES
20220089772 · 2022-03-24 · ·

The present disclosure relates to anti-glyco-MUC1 antibodies and antigen binding fragments thereof that specifically bind to a cancer-specific glycosylation variant of MUC1 and related fusion proteins and antibody-drug conjugates, as well as nucleic acids encoding such biomolecules. The present disclosure further relates to use of the antibodies, antigen-binding fragments, fusion proteins, antibody-drug conjugates and nucleic acids for cancer therapy.

RECOMBINANT LUBRICINS, AND COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR USING THE SAME
20220127318 · 2022-04-28 ·

Provided are compositions and methods related to modified lubricins, methods of making the modified lubricins, and methods of using the modified lubricins for coating a variety of inanimate objects, and for prophylaxis and/or therapy of disorders where enhanced lubrication of one or more parts of a human or non-human mammal is desirable.

Methods of purifying Mucin

Methods of purifying mucin, purified mucin, and products comprising the purified mucin. The methods include combining a mucin-containing substance with water and one or more purification agents to form a purification mixture, incubating the purification mixture for a time sufficient to form a mucin precipitate in a liquid phase, and separating the mucin precipitate from the liquid phase. The purification agents include one or more of a surfactant, a chelating agent, and a protic solvent. The mucin purified from the methods can be used alone or in combination with a biopolymer such as a tannin and chitosan and can be used to generate materials in the form of a gel, a foam, a film, or a powder.

ANTIGEN SPECIFIC MULTI EPITOPE VACCINES

The presently described subject matter relates to cancer vaccines composed of the signal peptide domain of tumor associated antigens or proteins. The described peptide vaccines have multiple MHC class I and class II epitopes which are highly abundant in the population. Therefore, these vaccines induce a strong, comprehensive immune response against the target proteins in the majority of the vaccinated population, and thereby induce an immune reaction against tumors expressing such target proteins. Specifically, the presently described subject matter relates to peptide vaccines composed of the signal peptide domain of Mucin (MUC1), BAGE-1 or ARMET, and their use for the treatment of cancers which express Mucin (MUC1), BAGE-1 or ARMET.
