Method for producing a hand orthosis and hand orthosis
A method for producing a hand orthosis, including the steps of: Producing an impression of at least one finger of a patient's hand and at least a part of a forearm, producing a finger section from a reproduction based on the impression, incorporating at least one finger segment in the finger section side corresponding to the hand surface, detecting the physiology of the patient's forearm using at least one captured image from the reproduction together with the finger section, thereby producing a digital 3D model, generating a rail based on the produced digital 3D model, securing at least one force-introducer onto or into the rail, securing a proximal end of the at least one finger segment to a distal end of the rail, and coupling the at least one force-introducer to the at least one finger segment. A hand orthosis is also provided.

Joint orthosis with movable pad
The application relates to an active joint orthosis, particularly an orthosis for the hip joint, with an extended therapeutic function and including a joint splint with articulated arms that can be pivoted relative to one another and a pad that can be actively moved via a coupling joint or cam profile on one articulated arm.
SEMI-RIGID BANDAGE
Semi-rigid bandages disclosed herein include a bandage structure layer with an embedded resin material. The resin material is formulated to cure when exposed to an activator such as air or water. Upon curing, the bandage hardens to a semi-rigid state that is harder and more rigid than conventional bandage materials found in household first-aid kits, yet less rigid than fiberglass-based orthopedic casts.

Brace for Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction
The present arch-support brace includes an advantageous strapping configuration that alleviates the painful symptoms of posterior tibial tendon dysfunction by applying consistent compression to the patient's foot, ankle, and lower leg. The arch-support brace includes a tibial-tendon support strap and a repositionable arch pad that lifts and rolls the patient's arch and inwardly rolls the patient's heel.

Medical dressing
A medical dressing is provided. The dressing has a central portion and a border portion, and comprises a backing layer, an adhesive body contact layer and a pad arranged in the central portion between the backing layer and the adhesive body contact layer. The pad is symmetric about a longitudinal center line and the dressing comprises a lobed portion on each side of the center line. The medical dressing comprises a gripping tab which is coplanar with the border portion and which projects outwardly from the border portion. The medical dressing may be used for pressure ulcer prevention, such as at the sacrum region of a human body.

Multi-component frame for use in an orthopedic device
A multi-component frame includes a first component made from a rigid structural material and a second component connected to at least an end portion the first component. The first component is constructed from a metal or metal alloy, and the second component is constructed from a material different from the first component. The first and second components form at least part of a length of the multi-component frame.
