HEAD SUPPORT SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USE
Systems and methods are provided for supporting a head of a user, e.g., while the user inclines their head downward, leans forward, and the like, for extended periods of time. In one example, a harness is provided that is configured to be worn on a body of a user, the harness including a shoulder harness configured to be worn over or around one or both shoulders of the user, and a head support. The head support may include a support bracket including a first end mounted to the harness, and a rest member coupled to a second end of the support bracket such that the rest member extends across a forehead of the user and/or at least partially around the user's head when the harness is worn for supporting the user's forehead.
Device and method for opening an airway
A device and a method for creating and/or maintaining an obstruction free upper respiratory passages. The device is configured to fit under the chin of a subject adjacent to the subject's neck at an external location corresponding approximately with the subject's soft tissue associated with the neck's anterior triangle. The device is capable of exerting negative pressure on the surface of a subject's neck, displacing the soft tissue forward and enlarging the airway.
Head and neck compression therapy system
A compression garment system and method that may include a head garment portion configured to be donned on a head of a body. The compression garment and method may further include a neck garment portion configured to be donned on a neck of the body. A controller may be configured to control pressure applied by each of one or more head pressure applying regions and/or each of one or more neck pressure applying regions to move lymph at least from the head towards the neck.

Closure apparatus
An apparatus for keeping a deceased person's mouth closed is disclosed herein. The apparatus ensures that the deceased person's mouth does not open during a period of muscle relaxation that immediately follow death, and ensures that the deceased mouth is not open during rigor mortis, which makes it more difficult to close the deceased open mouth later. The apparatus is comprised of various modular and swappable elements to ensure universal fit, as well as anti-slippage elements that ensure that the apparatus does not slip off a person's body when in use.
Cavity contour pillow
A pillow can include a head support surface configured to support at least a portion of a person's head, a first support having a first support surface with a first apex disposed at a first height a second support having a second support surface with a second apex disposed at a second height, and a third support having a third support surface with a third apex disposed at a third height. The support surfaces can support at least a portion of a person's neck when at least a portion of their head is in contact with the head support surface. One or more of the heights can differ from one or more other heights. A pillow can include one or more openings and one or more inserts configured to be disposed therein.
Head and neck compression garment
Compression garments and methods may include a head garment configured to be positioned around both sides of a head of a body from a posterior of the head to an anterior of the head (e.g., wherein the head garment may include a plurality of controllable head pressure applying regions positionable proximate at least cheeks and a posterior of the head) and a neck garment (e.g., coupled to the head garment). The compression garments and methods may also include a torso garment. Such garment portions may include one or more controllable pressure applying regions to move lymph from the head downward.
ADJUSTABLE COMPRESSION GARMENT
Compression garments may include mitts and tightening apparatus to don, or put on, such compression garments. The mitts may be configured to receive a user's hand such that the user can move one or more portions of the garments using the mitts. The tightening apparatus may allow a user to selectively tighten or loosen the garments about the user's body portions. Once donned, the compression garments may apply pressure to one or more regions of the user's body such as, e.g., arm regions, shoulder regions, torso regions, and neck regions.
ADJUSTABLE IMMOBILIZER APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR IMMOBILIZING A PATIENT
Systems for immobilizing a patient are disclosed. The system includes at least one preform formed from a low melting temperature thermoplastic, the preform being configured to be formed to the anatomy of the patient, at least one frame coupled to the at least one preform, and at least one support configured to support the anatomy of the patient. The system also includes at least one lock mechanism coupled to at least one of the frame and the support and configured to couple the at least one frame to the at least one support, and at least one adjuster mechanism coupled to at least one of the at least one frame and the at least one support and configured to selectively adjust a distance between the at least one frame and the at least one support while the at least one frame is coupled to the at least one support.

Systems for immobilizing a patient are disclosed.
