The wrist tower attachment includes a wrist tower base and a wrist tower post protruding upwardly from the wrist tower base. The support arm includes a stabilizer bar having a distal bar end, and the wrist tower attachment is secured onto the distal bar end. In some embodiments, the wrist tower attachment includes a female axial socket shaped to receive the male distal bar end. A traction bar is positioned on the wrist tower post and protrudes radially from the wrist tower post. A tension gauge is disposed on the traction bar in some embodiments.

A button protrudes from the top surface of the elongated body and is positioned proximate the trailing end of the elongated body. After the cartridge is inserted into the receiving channel, the button releases into an opening that intersects with the receiving channel so as to lock the cartridge in the channel.

Embodiments of extremity supports comprise a stabilizer and at least one window. In one embodiment, the window is a transparent portion of the stabilizer. In another embodiment, the window is an opening in the extremity support. In yet another embodiment, a window is an area of the extremity support that does not impede a health care worker's view of the lower part of an extremity.
