PENILE IMPLANT
According to an aspect, an implant includes a sheath defining a lumen, a cable member disposed within the lumen defined by the sheath, and a tensioner. The tensioner is configured to engage the cable to apply tension to the sheath.
Method of implanting a penile prosthetic
A method of implanting a penile prosthetic includes providing a tool having a barrel with a first groove formed in an exterior surface of the barrel and a second groove formed in the exterior surface of the barrel; capturing opposing lateral edges of a deflated penile implant into the respective the first groove the second groove; placing the barrel of the tool and the deflated penile implant into a corpora cavernosum of a penis; removing the barrel from the corpora cavernosum of the penis and leaving the deflated penile implant in the corpora cavernosum of the penis.
Treatment of erectile dysfunction using remote ischemic conditioning
The invention contemplates use of remote ischemic conditioning in the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
DEVICE ADAPTED TO SUPPORT AN ERECTION FOR A TRANS-MALE PERSON IDENTIFIED AS FEMALE AT BIRTH HAS A FIRST RECEPTACLE AND A SECOND RECEPTACLE EACH PROVIDED TO RECEIVE A PENILE PROSTHESIS
A device adapted to support an erection for a trans-male person identified as female at birth has an implantable support with a base including a first receptacle and a second receptacle. The receptacles are shaped and sized to receive an end portion of a penile prosthesis. When the base of the implantable support is attached to a pelvis of the trans-male person and the penile prostheses are inserted into the receptacles, the neophallus of the trans-male person, when erect, will be adapted for penetrative intercourse.
EXTERNAL PENILE ERECTION SYSTEM
A system for affecting, augmenting, or enhancing erection of the penis includes an elastomeric sleeve designed to comfortably and securely encircle the base of the penis. The sleeve is provided with a pair of inflatable chambers, a dorsal insert, and a ventral insert which are configured to apply focal pressure on the dorsal penile veins, while avoiding undue constriction of the corpora cavernosa or compression of the urethra, dorsal penile arteries, or nerves. The system includes fluid transfer apparatus having a reservoir for pressurized fluid, a pump, and valves for controlling the flow of fluid to the inflatable chambers. The system also includes an inflatable sealing apparatus which, when used in combination with a conventional vacuum erection tube, forms an airtight seal between the sleeve and the open end of the inflatable sealing member.
INFLATABLE PENILE VACUUM APPARATUS
A noninvasive penile erection device is provided having an inflatable sealing adapter that forms a substantially air tight seal between a conventional vacuum tube and a penis inserted therein. The sealing adapter is formed of a rigid tube slidable within the front end of a vacuum tube, and has an inflatable member along its inner circumference adapted to encircle the base of the penis and apply a radially inward force thereto sufficient to create an air tight seal there between during evacuation pumping.
Systems and methods for haptic stimulation
A system for sexual stimulation includes a first sexual stimulation device having a first sensor and a first actuator and a second sexual stimulation device having a second sensor and a second actuator. The first sexual stimulation device is configured to communicate information from the first sensor to actuate the second actuator of the second sexual stimulation device and the second sexual stimulation device is configured to communicate information from the second sensor to actuate the first actuator of the first sexual stimulation device.
IMPLANTABLE INFLATABLE DEVICE AND DELIVERY TOOL
An implantable inflatable device includes a fluid reservoir defining a cavity, an inflatable member having an inflation cavity and a delivery cavity, and a pump assembly configured to transfer fluid between the fluid reservoir and the inflatable member.
Method of inflating an implantable penile prosthetic
A method of inflating an implantable penile prosthetic includes providing the prosthetic with a lockout valve. The lockout valve is located in an inlet flow path between a reservoir containing liquid and a pump attached to the implantable penile prosthetic. The lockout valve has a core, an inlet flange connected to the core, a lockout flange connected to the core, an inflation channel formed through the core, a deflation pathway that is separate from the inflation channel and formed through a diameter of the core, and a one-way check valve disposed in the deflation pathway of the core. When a suction force is applied downstream from the reservoir, the core rotates, thus displacing the inlet flange and moving the liquid contained in the reservoir across the lockout valve and into the pump.
NEOPHALLUS IMPLANT AND A METHOD OF IMPLANTING A PENILE PROSTHETIC IN A NEOPENIS
Implantable apparatuses and method of implanting the apparatuses are disclosed that provide a person with a neopenis including a penile prosthetic implanted into a neophallus. The neopenis is situated anatomically in a position of that of a location for a penis of a natal male. The neopenis is suitable for penetrative intercourse.
