A manufacturing method for decorating natural leather with a decorative image includes applying on a crusted leather a base coat containing a pigment for providing a chromatic colour or an achromatic colour different from black, inkjet printing a colour image on the base coat using one or more pigmented UV curable inkjet inks, optionally applying a protective top coat on the image, and optionally applying a heat pressing or embossing step, wherein the chromatic colour or the achromatic colour different from black of the base coat and the inkjet printed colour image are used in combination to provide the decorative image.

A manufacturing method for decorating natural leather with a decorative image includes applying on a crusted leather a base coat containing a pigment for providing a chromatic colour or an achromatic colour different from black, inkjet printing a colour image on the base coat using one or more pigmented UV curable inkjet inks, optionally applying a protective top coat on the image, and optionally applying a heat pressing or embossing step, wherein the chromatic colour or the achromatic colour different from black of the base coat and the inkjet printed colour image are used in combination to provide the decorative image.

A resin composition for coating an optical fiber comprises a base resin containing an oligomer comprising a urethane (meth)acrylate oligomer, a monomer, and a photopolymerization initiator, and hydrophobic inorganic oxide particles, and the breaking elongation of a resin film obtained by curing the resin composition with an integrated light amount of 900 mJ/cm.sup.2 or more and 1100 mJ/cm.sup.2 or less is 2.5% or more and 50% or less at 23° C., and the Young's modulus of the resin film is 1150 MPa or more and 2700 MPa or less at 23° C.

A resin composition for coating an optical fiber comprises a base resin containing an oligomer comprising a urethane (meth)acrylate oligomer, a monomer, and a photopolymerization initiator, and hydrophobic inorganic oxide particles, and the breaking elongation of a resin film obtained by curing the resin composition with an integrated light amount of 900 mJ/cm.sup.2 or more and 1100 mJ/cm.sup.2 or less is 2.5% or more and 50% or less at 23° C., and the Young's modulus of the resin film is 1150 MPa or more and 2700 MPa or less at 23° C.
Optically clear high refractive index adhesives
Optically clear adhesive compositions contain an elastomeric polymer and a low molecular weight polymeric additive. The elastomeric polymer and the low molecular weight polymeric additive form an acid-base interaction. The refractive index of the adhesive composition is higher than the refractive index of the elastomeric polymer. The adhesive composition may also contain additional domains of liquids, polymers, additives or particles that have a higher refractive index than the elastomeric polymer.
Optically clear high refractive index adhesives
Optically clear adhesive compositions contain an elastomeric polymer and a low molecular weight polymeric additive. The elastomeric polymer and the low molecular weight polymeric additive form an acid-base interaction. The refractive index of the adhesive composition is higher than the refractive index of the elastomeric polymer. The adhesive composition may also contain additional domains of liquids, polymers, additives or particles that have a higher refractive index than the elastomeric polymer.
