An absorbent article and enclosing pants and a method for wearing the combination thereof are provided. The absorbent article has a front lifting section and a rear lifting section that are provided with apertures to allow male and female parts of hook-and-loop fasteners of the enclosing pants to touch inside the apertures and to engage outside the apertures for preventing skidding. An isolating absorbent article may have an easy tear line opening for selectively tearing and tightly surrounding around a rear root portion of the scrotum to isolate the external sex organ and for installation or extension of a urine tube or a urine sack. The enclosing pants has the front pad and a rear pad having two lifting and looping sections and a central opening section, the central opening for fixing and correspond the easy tear line opening.

An absorbent cuff for use with a male patient wearing a catheter is provided, the cuff including a nonpermeable body operable to receive and enclose an absorbent material and to prevent leakage of a fluid retained. A circumferentially concave opening is operable for positioning on the catheter below the head of a patient's penis and surround the point of insertion of the catheter into the patient's urethra. A catheter passage is operable to enclose a catheter and to receive and retain fluid discharged from a catheter. A slit enables a catheter to be inserted into the catheter passage of the absorbent material. An absorbent pad operable for use with female patients includes an absorbent material, a nonpermeable backing, a catheter passage, and a slit to allow for insertion and removal of a catheter.

Examples relate to fluid collection devices, and related systems and methods. A fluid collection device includes a fluid impermeable barrier, a fluid permeable body, a tube, and a sump. The fluid impermeable barrier has a distal end region and defines an opening and a chamber in fluid communication with the opening. The fluid permeable body is positioned within the chamber at least partially at the distal end region. The tube extends into the chamber and has an end positioned proximate to the distal end region of the fluid impermeable barrier. The tube includes a tube opening at least proximate to the end of the tube and oriented to face at least a portion of the fluid permeable body. The sump is positioned in the area between the tube opening and the distal end region.

The present invention is directed towards a personal care device. The personal care device comprises a flexible tubular body having an open end, a closed end, an inner surface, and an outer surface. The flexible tubular body is configured to at least partially cover a penis of a user, wherein the open end is configured to be positioned over a shaft of the penis and the closed end is configured to be positioned over a head of the penis, and the inner surface is configured to be contact with the penis. The personal care device also comprises an absorbent region disposed on the inner surface of the flexible tubular body such that the absorbent region is positioned on the shaft of the penis, the absorbent region has an absorbent material bonded with the inner surface.

A surgical infant diaper. The surgical infant diaper includes a flexible body having an interior layer and an exterior layer, wherein the flexible body further includes a front portion, a rear portion, and a central portion therebetween. The flexible body is movable between an open position and a closed position, wherein the closed position an upper opening and a pair of leg openings are defined. An article of manufacture for providing a small urine drop catching pouch comprises a small pouch having an opening and an inner liner for placing over a penis after urinating and a closure for securing the opening once the drop catching pouch has been used. The drop catching pouch is made from a material comprising sheep skin, silk, help, cotton, and bamboo. The closure comprises elastic, string, and VELCRO™. The inner liner comprises an absorbent layer for retaining urine and eliminating odor comprising sodium polyacrylate granules and baking soda.

Abase plate for an ostomy appliance including a removable protection element provided on a proximal adhesive surface of the base plate wherein an uptake portion is provided on the removable protection element and is adapted to take up stomal effluents. Further disclosed are methods of preventing stomal effluents from the stoma from contaminating the adhesive material of the base plate during application of the base plate to the skin surface around the stoma of the user, as well as a kit of parts and an accessory for a base plate of an ostomy appliance.

A liquid absorbing bag adapted to be disposed on an excretory portion is provided, the excretory portion has an excretory outlet, and the liquid absorbing bag includes a liquid collecting bag and an absorbing pad. The liquid collecting bag defines a liquid accommodating space, and an opening communicating with the liquid accommodating space and allowing the excretory portion to enter the liquid accommodating space. The absorbing pad is arranged in the liquid accommodating space, and includes an absorbing sheet body. The absorbing sheet body has a folded portion disposed at an end of the liquid collecting bag away from the opening. The folded portion is folded along a plurality of substantially parallel fold lines and is expandable and compressible along a length direction perpendicular to the fold lines.

A urine removal device includes a plurality of layers suitable to capture and transfer urine. A conduit system is disposed inside of the device and extends from the proximal portion of the device, where it interfaces via an outlet conduit member, to the distal end of the device where it draws in urine from the device. The device allows air flow through the device to support suction that is applied. The fluid layer system has at least one conduit configured to draw urine from the distal portion of the device up to the proximal end of the device, and into the outlet conduit where it exits the urine removal device.
