Devices and Systems for Urine Collection
A urine collection system includes a first fluid collection device with (i) a first internal cavity, (ii) a first inlet in fluid communication with the first internal cavity, and (iii) a first outlet in fluid communication with the first internal cavity. The urine collection system further includes a tube in fluid communication with the first outlet. The urine collection system further includes a second fluid collection device with (i) a second internal cavity, (ii) a permeable membrane positioned within the second internal cavity, thereby separating the second internal cavity into a first chamber and a second chamber, (iii) a second inlet in fluid communication with the first internal cavity, and (iv) a second outlet in fluid communication with the second inlet of the second fluid collection device.

Customisable stoma insert
The invention relates to method of manufacturing a custom stoma insert for a patient having a stoma, as well as to a stoma made using the method of the invention. The method comprises the steps of scanning the stoma and surrounding skin area to generate a three-dimensional scan of the area for which the stoma insert is to be manufactured; manipulating scan data obtained from the three-dimensional scan to render a three-dimensional model of the stoma and surrounding skin contours, such that the scan data is suitable for use in an additive manufacturing environment; creating a custom mould for the stoma insert using additive manufacturing such that the mould provides a complementary surface closely mirroring the contours of the stoma and surrounding skin area; and producing the stoma insert by casting a physiologically acceptable mouldable material into the custom mould.

Ostomy Pouch
The invention relates to an ostomy pouch 10, 110. The pouch 10, 110 comprises an inner wall 18b, 118b and an outer wall 20b, 120b sealed about at least part of the periphery thereof to define a cavity for containing a stomal output. An inlet 22, 122 is provided into the cavity for receiving stomal output from an ostomate, in use. The cavity comprises multiple sections 12, 14, 16; 112, 114, 116 separated by waisted sections 13, 15; 113, 115. The maximum width of the sections 12, 14, 16; 112, 114, 116 has a greater width than a minimum width of the waisted section(s) 13, 15; 113, 115.

Ostomy Appliance
An ostomy appliance comprising an inner wall and an outer wall that define a cavity for containing a stomal output, the ostomy appliance having an upper section, a lower section and a waisted section that is located between the upper section and the lower section. The upper section has a maximum width (A) that is greater than a maximum width (B) of the lower section and the waisted section has a minimum width (C) that is less than the maximum width (B) of the lower section. The waisted section has a left-hand edge that is smoothly rounded and a right-hand edge that is smoothly rounded, and both the left-hand edge and the right-hand edge smoothly blend, respectively, into left-hand edges and right-hand edges of the upper section and the lower section.
