Protective material and wireless communication device
Provided is a protective material that protects a wireless communication portion for wireless communication, comprising a substrate formed of a foam synthetic resin and a coating layer of a polyurea resin covering at least a front side surface of the substrate. The wireless communication device includes a wireless communication portion for wireless communication and a protective material.
NEW DEPOLYMERIZATION METHOD FOR POLYURETHANES
A new and improved process can be used for depolymerization of polyurethanes with a strong inorganic base. Polyether polyols and polyamines can be recovered in high yields.
Mortar composition based on isocyanate amine adducts, multi-component resin system, method for the fastening of construction elements and use of the multi component resin system for the fastening of construction elements
A multi-component resin system can be used for producing a mortar composition based on isocyanate amine adducts for the chemical fastening of construction elements. A mortar composition based on isocyanate amine adducts can be produced from the multi-component resin system. A corresponding method can be used for the chemical fastening of construction elements in mineral substrates, using the mortar composition based on the isocyanate amine adducts.
Modified Formula for Hydrophilic Foam
The present invention provides a modified formula to make a hydrophilic foam. In some embodiments this modified formula adds a filler which causes the foam to become less absorptive, which has the benefit of making available to the skin more makeup or other products, while also providing a superior esthetic application of makeup on the skin. In other embodiments the modified formula makes the hydrophilic foam easier to clean and reduces the staining propensity of the foam. In other embodiments the modified formula uses an additive to the properties or usability of the foam in some way. Providing the filler and additive can be done in combination or separately depending on the desired benefits or properties of the foam. In some embodiments the foam is fashioned into a shape suitable for makeup application.
METHODS FOR CROSS-LINKING THERMOPLASTIC POLYURETHANE COVERS FOR GOLF BALLS
Golf balls having covers made of thermoplastic polyurethane compositions are provided. Multi-piece golf balls can be made. The outer cover layer is formed from a composition comprising a thermoplastic polyurethane, a multi-functional hydroxyl compound, and a multi-functional compound selected from multi-functional amines and imines, and multi-functional isocyanates, and mixtures of two or more thereof. The cover composition can further include catalysts, ultraviolet (UV)-light stabilizers, and other additives.
Environmentally biodegradable microcapsules
Disclosed is a composition including controlled release particles, wherein each of the controlled release particles includes: (a) a core including at least one hydrophobic active ingredient; and (b) a wall at least partially surrounding the core and including the reaction products of: (i) an organofunctional silane; (ii) an epoxy; (iii) an amine; (iv) an isocyanate; (v) an epoxide curing agent; wherein the controlled release particles are effective to retain the at least one hydrophobic active ingredient upon exposure to water and effective to release the at least one hydrophobic active ingredient in response to friction. A method for preparing the composition is also disclosed.

Two part sole structures and uses thereof
Two part sole structures are provided having a first foam component containing a polyolefin resin with a polyurethane resin component adhered to a surface of the first foam component. For example, in some aspects, a sole structure or a portion thereof is provided having a first sole component containing a foam composition and a second sole component adhered to a surface of the first sole component, where the second sole component includes a polyurethane resin. The second sole component is in some aspects printed or extruded onto the surface of the foam. In particular, midsoles including the foams and having an outsole component on the ground facing portion are provided for use in an article of footwear. Methods of making the sole structures are provided, as well as methods of making an article of footwear including one of the sole structures.
TWO-PART INTERFACE MATERIALS, SYSTEMS INCLUDING THE INTERFACE MATERIAL, AND METHODS THEREOF
The teachings herein relate to new compositions for thermal interface materials that provide improved thermal conductivity without requiring filler materials that are expensive or abrasive. The improved thermal conductivity is achieved using a combination of increased filler loading, selection of a filler having abroad particle size distribution, and selection of filler that is non-abrasive. The thermal interface material preferably has a specific gravity of about 4.0 or less, about 3.0 or less, about 2.5 or less, or about 2.4 or less. The thermal interface material may be a two-part composition. In order to achieve maximum thermal conductivity, each part preferably includes a liquid matrix material and dispersed filler. Upon mixing, the first and second parts may react to increase this viscosity (e.g., by polymerizing and/or cross-linking). The first part preferably includes a carbamate-containing compound that reacts with a carbamate-reactive compound, which is preferably in the second component. The first part preferably is substantially or entirely free of isocyanate containing compounds, as these compounds may reduce the shelf life stability of the composition. The carbamate-reactive compound preferably is a polyamine, including two or more spaced apart amine groups. The first part, the second part, or both, preferably includes a catalyst for accelerating the reaction between the carbamate-containing compound and the carbamate-reactive compound.
