LOW TVOC FLAME-RETARDANT POLYURETHANE SPRAY FOAM SYSTEM
Described herein is a Low TVOC flame-retardant polyurethane spray foam system, including at least one isocyanate as isocyanate component, and at least one substance reactive toward isocyanate, chain extender and/or crosslinking agent, flame retardant, blowing agent, catalysts, and additives and/or auxiliaries, as resin components, where the flame retardant includes expandable graphite and melamine, the amount of expandable graphite is in the range of from 5 wt % to less than 30 wt %, and the amount of melamine is in the range of from greater than 5 wt % to 30 wt %, each based on the total weight of the resin components. Also described herein are a polyurethane spray foam produced therefrom, the preparation thereof, and a method of use thereof in the application of heat insulation, sound insulation, cavity filling and damping packing.
Composite Polyurethane Condom and Preparation Method Thereof
A composite polyurethane condom and a preparation method thereof. The composite polyurethane condom includes a first substrate layer, an adhesive layer formed on the first substrate layer, and a second substrate layer formed on the adhesive layer. A special adhesive layer is added between the two layers of materials, so that, for example, two materials with different polarities can be firmly attached together without delamination.
Polyurethane Hot Melt Adhesive Composition, and Preparation Method Thereof
The present invention provides a hotmelt adhesive composition, comprising (A) at least one polyurethane prepolymer obtained by reacting (A1) polyols comprising: (a) at least one polyester polyol, and (b) at least one polyether polyol, with (A2) at least one polyisocyanate having at least two isocyanate groups in one molecule; (B) at least one thermoplastic resin; and (C) at least one aspect ratio promoter in an amount of no more than 10% by weight based on the total weight of the composition.
Fold Protection for Spiral Filtration Modules Utilizing UV Cured Polyurethane and Method of Providing Same
Disclosed is a dual UV and reaction curable, two component adhesive comprising both acrylic chemistry and polyurethane chemistry. The UV curable acrylate component provides a fast cure reaction to generate a tack-free surface. The mixed two component polyurethane cures to a reaction product that provides flexibility and chemical resistance. The adhesive is useful as fold protection for spiral filtration modules. When cured on a membrane the adhesive will maintain integrity and adhesion to membrane after treatments of creasing and soaking at high temperature, pressure, and wide pH ranges.
FOAMING MATERIAL, AND THERMAL INSULATION CABINET AND METHOD FOR PREPARING SAME
Disclosed are a foaming material, a thermal insulation cabinet, and preparation methods therefor. The foaming material comprises 100 parts of a combined polyol, 10-30 parts of a foaming agent composition, and 120-150 parts of an isocyanate. In the present invention, the type of the polyol used in a foaming system is adjusted in order to increase the content of a polyester polyol and reduce the content of a polyether polyol, such that the compressive strength of the foaming material is significantly improved without increasing or changing the injection amount.
SUSTAINABLE REACTIVE HOT MELT ADHESIVE COMPOSITIONS
The invention features a reactive hot melt adhesive composition comprising the reaction product of from 5% by weight to 40% by weight of a first polyester polyol comprising the reaction product of a dicarboxylic acid monomer, a tetra alkyl cyclobutane diol and optionally one or more additional monomers, from 10% by weight to 80% by weight of a sustainable polyol, and a diisocyanate.
Two-component adhesive compositions based on phosphate ester modified isocyanates, and methods for making same
The disclosed adhesive compositions comprise (A) an isocyanate component comprising an isocyanate-terminated prepolymer that is the reaction product of a polyisocyanate and an isocyanate-reactive mixture comprising a phosphate ester polyol. The disclosed adhesive compositions further comprise (B) an isocyanate-reactive component polyol component comprising a polyol. In some embodiments, methods for preparing two-component adhesives formulations are disclosed comprising preparing an isocyanate component comprising an isocyanate-terminated prepolymer by reacting a polyisocyanate with an isocyanate-reactive mixture comprising a phosphate ester polyol and preparing an isocyanate-reactive component comprising a polyol. The methods further comprise mixing the isocyanate component and the isocyanate-reactive component at a stoichiometric ratio (NCO/OH) of from about 1.0 to about 5.0. Methods for forming laminate structures, and the laminate structures themselves, are also disclosed.
Polyurethane insulation foam composition comprising halogenated olefins and a tertiary amine compound
A polyurethane insulation foam composition is disclosed herein. The polyurethane insulation foam comprises: (i) an isocyanate compound; (ii) an isocyanate reactive compound; (iii) water; (iv) a tertiary amine compound; (v) a hydrophilic carboxylic acid compound; (vi) a halogenated olefin compound; and (vii) optionally, other additives.
