Golf ball
An object of the present invention is to provide a golf ball showing improved durability by improving adhesion to a constituent member comprising a polyurethane in the golf ball. The present invention provides a golf ball comprising a center and n envelope layers (n is a natural number of 1 or more) covering the center, wherein at least one envelope layer is a polyurethane envelope layer comprising a polyurethane as a principal component, and the polyurethane envelope layer and a constituent member adjacent to the polyurethane envelope layer are adhered with an adhesive resin composition, and wherein the adhesive resin composition comprises a base material including a urethane polyol and an epoxy resin, and a curing agent including a polyamine compound, and a content of the urethane polyol in the base material is 5 mass % or more and less than 40 mass %.
Intermediate coating composition, multilayered coating film, and method for forming the multilayered coating film
An intermediate coating composition used in forming an intermediate coating layer directly overlaid on a surface of an electrodeposition coating layer constructing a vehicle outer panel, the coating composition containing as resin components: (a) 1% to 27% by mass of a polycaprolactonetriol; (b) 20% to 60% by mass of a blocked isocyanate; and (c) 1% to 20% by mass of a melamine resin, each at a percentage content in entire resin components, and the coating composition further containing as a pigment component: (d) 1% to 10% by mass of talc in terms of pigment mass concentration. As the resin component, (e) greater than 0% to 10% by mass of an epoxy resin is preferably contained. A urethane curing catalyst is preferably contained in an amount of greater than 0.01 parts to 2 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the entire resin components.
Flame retardant composition
A liquid flame retardant composition which comprises one or more flame retarding agents, which are the epoxides obtainable by reacting tetrabromobisphenol A with epichlorohydrin and their end-capped derivatives represented by Formula (1) is provided. The liquid composition is especially useful in the preparation of rigid polyurethane foams.
Aqueous resinous dispersions that include a zinc (II) amidine complex and methods for the manufacture thereof
Disclosed herein are stable aqueous resinous dispersions and methods for forming such dispersions that include a zinc (II) amidine complex.
Methods for forming omniphobic thermoset compositions and related articles
The disclosure relates to methods for forming an omniphobic thermoset composition, such as an omniphobic polyurethane or epoxy composition. First and second thermosetting components are applied to a substrate and partially cured. A functionalized hydrophobic/oleophobic/omniphobic polymer which is reactive with at least the first thermosetting component is then applied to the coated substrate, which is then further cured to form a thermoset omniphobic coating on the substrate. The thermoset omniphobic composition has favorable omniphobic properties, for example as characterized by water and/or oil contact and/or sliding angles. The thermoset omniphobic composition can be used as a coating on any of a variety of substrates to provide omniphobic properties to a surface of the substrate. Such omniphobic coatings can be scratch resistant, ink/paint resistant, and optically clear. The thermoset omniphobic composition can be applied by different coating methods including cast, spin, roll, spray and dip coating methods.
