The present invention refers to a polyesterpolyol which is obtained by reaction of at least one diol with at least one primary hydroxy group and at least one secondary hydroxy group with a saturated aliphatic dicarboxylic acid comprising a carbon chain of at least 12 carbon atoms. The invention further relates to an adhesive composition containing the polyesterpolyol, in particular a polyurethane adhesive composition.

This invention relates to an oil resistant adhesive composition, comprising at least one crystalline polyester polyol; at least one first amorphous aromatic polyester polyol having a glass transition temperature less than 0° C.; at least one second amorphous aromatic polyester polyol having a glass transition temperature greater than or equal to 0° C.; and at least one polyisocyanate. The oil resistant adhesive composition has excellent oil resistance and can be well applied to be used in wearable devices.

According to the said multilayer coating system, the invention further discloses a coating method, a coating structure, and a coated substrate. The invention also provides an isocyanate curing coating, which is used for a primer coat for a Real Michael addition crosslinkable coating and a use thereof for improving the adhesion of the Real Michael addition crosslinkable coating to a substrate.

(Meth)acrylate-functionalized oligomers having a) an oligomeric backbone comprised of first segments and second segments and b) (meth)acrylate-functionalized end groups are provided. Such oligomers are useful as components of curable compositions. The first segments, second segments and (meth)acrylate-functionalized end groups are linked together by linking moieties derived from a polyisocyanate. The first segments are residues of a first segment precursor containing a plurality of repeating units and a plurality of isocyanate-reactive functional groups and having a number average molecular weight of at least 250 daltons. The second segments are residues of a second segment precursor, different from the first segment precursor, containing a plurality of repeating units and a plurality of isocyanate-reactive functional groups and having a number average molecular weight of at least 250 daltons. The first segment and the second segment exhibit a Hansen Solubility Parameter Distance Relative Energy Difference of at least about 4 and not more than about 9.

Such an elastomeric cross-linked polyester material, in some embodiments, comprises a plurality of polymeric units of the general formula (-A-B-).sub.p, wherein p is an integer greater than 1; and a plurality of urethane cross-links each of which covalently links two polymeric units to one another, which two linked polymeric unit each had at least one free hydroxyl or amino group prior to formation of the crosslink.

A thermoplastic polyurethane can be obtained by a process involving a reaction of a thermoplastic polyester (PE-1) with a diamine (D1), to obtain a composition (Z1) containing an amide (PA-1), and a reaction of the obtained composition (Z1) with an isocyanate composition (I1), containing at least one polyisocyanate, and a polyol composition (P1). The diamine (D1) has a molecular weight in the range from 50 g/mol to 700 g/mol. A process can produce such a thermoplastic polyurethane, and shaped articles can be made containing the thermoplastic polyurethane.

The present invention relates to a process for preparing polyurethanes by mixing a) polyisocyanate, b) a mixture obtainable by introducing an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salt into a compound comprising urethane groups, c) compounds comprising one or more epoxide groups, and, optionally, d) polyol, e) chain extenders, and f) fillers and further additives to form a reaction mixture and fully reacting the mixture to give the polyurethane, where the amount of alkali metal or alkaline earth metal ions per equivalent urethane groups in the compound (b) is 0.0001 to 3.5. The present invention further relates to a polyurethane obtainable by such a process, and to the use of such a polyurethane for producing bodywork components for vehicles.
