VARIABLE FIT FLUID COLLECTION DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Examples relate to fluid collection devices, systems, and methods of collecting fluid from wearers. The fluid collection devices include a retention means for maintaining the position of the fluid collection device with respect to the wearer.
Single-use expandable liquid container and blank
The present invention relates to a single-use container manufactured from sheet material, the single-use container comprising: a base, wherein the base is flat and forms a surface on which the single- use container can stand, —a front wall, a right wall, a left wall and a rear wall which extend upward from the base, wherein the front wall and the rear wall are convex, and wherein the right wall and left wall are concave, an upper end which connects the front wall, right wall, left wall and rear wall.
FLUID COLLECTION ASSEMBLIES INCLUDING AN EXTENSION
An example fluid collection assembly includes a fluid impermeable layer. The fluid impermeable layer includes a proximal end region and a distal end region. The fluid impermeable layer also defines at least a chamber, at least one opening that may be between the proximal and distal end regions, and a fluid outlet that may be at the proximal end region. The fluid collection assembly may also include at least one porous material disposed in the chamber. The fluid collection assembly further includes an extension that is at least one of attachable or extends from the distal end region of the fluid impermeable layer. The extension is configured to be disposed within the gluteal cleft (e.g., between the buttocks) to help secure the fluid collection assembly to an individual using the fluid collection assembly.

Urinary catheter
A urinary catheter is described that can be retained inside the body for extended periods. A catheter mating device can connect to the catheter to move the catheter inside of the body or remove it from the body. The catheter includes one or more of: (1) a retention portion having an outer cover, an inner cavity, and at least one structure in the inner cavity that exerts outward force on the outer cover, and (2) an extendable flap at the catheter's distal end. The retention portion and/or extendable flap each are configured to retain the catheter in the proper position inside of a user's body.
Fecal management systems and methods
Fecal management methods and apparatuses (e.g., devices, systems, etc.) may apply one or more fecal removal cycles of suction and irrigation (and in some examples air) to actively remove fecal material. The apparatus may control the timing of delivery of the fecal removal cycles as well as the parameters of the applied suction, irrigation and/or air within and between fecal removal cycles.

Method of urination and defecation in space
The disclosure belongs to the field of aerospace technology, and in particular relates to a method of urination and defecation in space. The method may include: forming a sealed space between a spacesuit below the waist and above the two thighs and the human skin before an astronaut urinates or defecates, and using, by the astronauts, the sealed space to urinate or defecate. The disclosure can confine the excrements in a small sealed space, and the operation thereof is simple, convenient and fast, and no excessive cost is required, and no pollution is caused in the spacesuit and the cabin, facilitating the astronauts' work in space.
FLUID COLLECTION DEVICES INCLUDING AT LEAST ONE SHAPE MEMORY MATERIAL
Examples relate to systems, devices, and methods for removing fluid from a fluid collection device using a vacuum source operably coupled thereto. The fluid collection devices include urine collection devices having shape memory material that may be selectively shaped to complement the female or male anatomy near the respective urethras.
Multichambered urine collection device
A user friendly multi-chambered flat urine collection device comprising an inlet port having a non-return valve, an upper chamber further divided into a plurality of vertical chambers, a lower chamber further divided into a plurality of vertical chambers, a plurality of breathing open areas intervening said upper, lower and vertical chambers, and a drainage tube. The inlet port is positioned at top of the upper chamber, said inlet port in turn is removably connected to a catheter. The breathing open areas between the vertical chambers of said upper and lower chambers allow the urine collection device to conform to shape of patient body. Moreover, the chambers distribute the weight of collected urine equally to avoid a bulging effect. Alternately, the urine collection device has absorbent layer insert to absorb the bodily discharge.
