REUSABLE, DISCREET ABSORBENT BED PAD
A reusable, discreet absorbent bed pad for medical use. The bed pad may include a base layer and an upper layer. The upper layer may include an aperture to receive an absorbent pad between the base layer and the upper layer such that a central portion of the absorbent pad is exposed through the aperture and an outer periphery of the absorbent pad is overlapped by the upper layer. A weighted blanket for medical use is also disclosed and claimed herein.
Absorbent mat with perimeter seal
The present invention is an absorbent mat, such as a bed pad or a change mat, e.g. for protecting an underlying support from soiling, with a perimeter seal to prevent side-way leakage, as well as method for the formation of such a pad or mat.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE
Absorbent article having a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction, a front portion, a rear portion and a middle portion located between the rear portion and the front portion is disclosed. The article has a first longitudinal side edge and a second longitudinal side edge extending in said longitudinal direction, and a first transverse side edge and a second transverse side edge extending in the transverse direction. The article includes a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core enclosed between the topsheet and the backsheet, and a first and a second fastening tab attached to said article. The first and second fastening tabs each has a first surface including a first fastener and a second surface including a second fastener.
Absorbent pad with drawstring system and method
An absorbent pad with drawstring system; the absorbent pad with drawstring system includes an absorbent pad having a drawstring system and a planar body with multiple layers configured to absorb liquid-waste and collect solid-waste. The absorbent pad with drawstring system is provided for use in both professional environments and private households for collecting solid-waste and liquid-waste for sanitary containment and disposal of the solid-waste and the liquid-waste.
Fluid collection assemblies including an adjustable spine
An example fluid collection assembly includes a fluid impermeable barrier defining at least a chamber, at least one opening, and a fluid outlet. The fluid collection assembly also includes at least one porous material disposed in the chamber and an adjustable spine. The adjustable spine is configured to selectively change the shape of at least a portion of the fluid collection assembly. For example, the adjustable spine includes a first strip and a second strip. The second strip is configured to switch from at least a relaxed configuration to a stressed configuration. The fluid collection assembly may exhibit a first shape when the second strip is in the relaxed configuration and a second shape that is different than the first shape when the second strip is in the stressed configuration.
ABSORBENT MAT WITH PERIMETER SEAL
The present invention is an absorbent mat, such as a bed or pad or a change mat, e.g. for protecting an underlying support from soiling, with a perimeter seal to prevent side-way leakage, as well as method for the formation of such a pad or mat.
Urine collection devices having a relatively wide portion and an elongated portion and related methods
Examples relate to devices, systems, and methods for fluid collection such as urine. The urine collection device includes a fluid impermeable barrier and a fluid permeable body. The fluid impermeable barrier at least partially defines a chamber. The fluid impermeable barrier includes at least one elongated portion having a first width and distal to the aperture and a second portion having a second width greater than the first width. The second portion at least partially defines an opening in the fluid impermeable barrier, and the opening has a maximum lateral dimension greater than the first width of the elongated portion. The fluid permeable body is configured to wick fluid away from the opening into the at least one elongated portion.
Patient incontinence pad with integrated support and lifting member
An easily changed incontinence pad has an integrated support and lifting member. The pad has a main body having an upper portion and a lower portion, and an incontinence member positioned on the lower portion. The support and lifting member forms the upper portion, and is integrated with and separable from the lower portion. The main body is a generally T-shaped body, and the support and lifting member forms first and second arms of the T-shaped body. A method of changing an incontinence pad is also disclosed.
Wearable waste removal and cleansing apparatus
The present invention discloses a wearable waste removal and cleansing apparatus, comprising a wearable part, a receptacle part detachably connected to the wearable part, and a control assembly connected to the receptacle part for automatic flushing. The wearable part includes a sliding sleeve and wearable pants connected to the sliding sleeve. An engaging mechanism is disposed between the sliding sleeve and the receptacle part. The wearable waste removal and cleansing apparatus of the present invention is simple in structure, convenient to operate, and sanitary and intelligent, and therefore is suitable for popularization and application.
