Water-based UV coatings, preparation method therefor and application thereof
A water-based dual-cure coating comprising the following raw material components: 15-25 parts by weight of a water-based polycarbonate dispersion, 30-60 parts by weight of a water-based aliphatic polyurethane acrylate dispersion, 5-15 parts by weight of a UV reactive diluent, 1-4 parts by weight of a photoinitiator, 0.2-1 part by weight of an auxiliary agent, 3-8 parts by weight of a film coalescing aid, and 5-15 parts by weight of water. The coating is sprayed onto an automotive interior part and subsequently cured by baking at a temperature of 50-65? C. to form a film, proceeding UV curing; and proceeding thermal curing at temperature of 70-80? C.
(METH)ACRYLAMIDE BASED URETHANE OLIGOMER AND ACTIVE ENERGY RAY CURABLE RESIN COMPOSITION CONTAINING SAME
An object is to provide a (meth)acrylamide based urethane oligomer which has excellent compatibility with organic solvents and general purpose acrylic monomers and oligomers, a high curing property with an active energy ray, and a low curing shrinkage property, and to provide an active energy ray curable resin composition containing the same which has an excellent adhesion property, moisture resistance, surface curing property, and also a low curing shrinkage property, and a molded article of the same. By using a (meth)acrylamide based urethane oligomer characterized by having a (meth)acrylamide group at the end or in side chain thereof and a cure shrinkage rate of 5% or less, it is possible to prepare a urethane oligomer having high curing property and excellent compatibility with organic solvents and general purpose acrylic monomers and oligomers, and an active energy ray curable resin composition containing the same and having excellent adhesion property can be prepared.
Elimination of application streaks of coatings using short fibers
Waterborne polyurethane coating compositions comprising a polyol, an isocyanate crosslinker, and a small amount of thermoplastic microfibers, e.g., polyolefin microfibers, having a length of less than 1 mm, exhibit a much less sag, roller lines and other surface imperfections upon application to a substrate, in particular a vertical substrate such as a wall, than analogous water borne polyurethane compositions that lack the microfibers.
Liquid coatings including expandable graphite
A method of preparing a seamless membrane over a flat or low-sloped roof, the method comprising applying multiple layers of a liquid coating composition over a roof surface, where said step of applying includes applying at least one layer of a liquid coating composition that includes expandable graphite.
CROSS-LINKABLE COMPOSITION
The present application relates to a cross-linkable composition, and for example, to a cross-linkable composition which can form a membrane having an excellent interfacial adhesion with other layers and cause no detachment phenomenon when forming a membrane in a structure of a pressure-sensitive adhesive optical member or the like.
POLYISOCYANATE COMPOSITION, POLYURETHANE RESIN, TWO-COMPONENT CURABLE POLYURETHANE COMPOSITION, AND COATING MATERIAL
A polyisocyanate composition contains a modified product of xylylene diisocyanate and a modified product of pentamethylene diisocyanate, and/or a modified product of the xylylene diisocyanate and the pentamethylene diisocyanate. The ratio of the pentamethylene diisocyanate with respect to the total amount of the xylylene diisocyanate and the pentamethylene diisocyanate is 5 mol % or more and 40 mol % or less.
The ratio of the pentamethylene diisocyanate with respect to the total amount of the xylylene diisocyanate and the pentamethylene diisocyanate is 60 mol % or more and 95 mol % or less.
COMPOUND
A compound applicable to various uses can be provided in the present application. In one embodiment, the compound can be included in a cross-linkable composition to serve as a crosslinking rate regulator. In another embodiment, the compound can be applied to a cross-linkable composition such that a membrane formed by the cross-linkable composition has excellent interfacial adhesion with another membrane, and also prevent the occurrence of leakage of the membrane formed by the cross-linkable composition.
POLYISOCYANATE COMPOSITION, POLYURETHANE RESIN AND TWO-COMPONENT CURABLE POLYURETHANE COMPOSITION
A polyisocyanate composition includes an isocyanurate derivative of xylylene diisocyanate, and a biuret derivative of aliphatic polyisocyanate.
Electrophotographic member, method of producing the same, process cartridge, and electrophotographic apparatus
Provided is an electrophotographic member that is excellent in charge-imparting performance for a toner, and that hardly causes tackiness on its surface even when placed under a high-temperature and high-humidity environment over a long time period. The electrophotographic member includes a substrate and a surface layer, in which the surface layer satisfies the following requirements (A) and (B): (A) the surface layer contains, in a region from its surface to a depth of up to 0.1 m, a copolymer containing a constituent unit represented by the following structural formula (1), and at least one selected from the group consisting of a constituent unit represented by the following structural formula (2) and a constituent unit represented by the following structural formula (3); and (B) the concentration of a nitrogen atom derived from a nitrogen-containing aromatic heterocyclic amine structure in the copolymer is from 6.0 mass % to 30.0 mass %. ##STR00001##
