SPECTACLE LENS ANTI-FOGGING COMPOSITION AND SPECTACLE LENS
A composition for an antifogging film of a spectacle lens, wherein the composition has a viscosity at 15? C. of 20 mPa.Math.s or more and 80 mPa.Math.s or less, and a solid content of 10 mass % or more and 25 mass % or less.
Anti-smudge and Anti-graffiti Compositions
Polyurethane-based and epoxy-based coating compositions are described that provide coatings and adhesives that are clear, amphiphobic and durable. Both water and hexadecane readily slide off these surfaces without leaving a residue. Coatings with thicknesses ranging from about 10 nm to about 10 m exhibited excellent transmittance properties. Such films exhibited durability against abrasion, ink-resistance, anti-graffiti, anti-fingerprint, and strong adhesion to glass surfaces. The coatings are applicable to electronic devices, fabrics, glass, etc. to prepare optically clear, stain-resistant, and smudge-resistant surfaces.
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE SHEET
The present invention provides a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) sheet that achieves both low initial adhesiveness and strong adhesiveness upon use and has excellent transparency of the PSA layer. The PSA sheet provided herein includes a PSA layer having a haze value of 1.0% or less. The PSA sheet is configured so that a pressure-sensitive adhesive strength N1, after the PSA layer is attached to a stainless steel plate and left at 23 C. for 30 minutes, is 1.5 N/20 mm or less, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive strength N2, after the PSA layer is attached to a stainless steel plate and heated at 80 C. for 5 minutes, is 10.0 N/20 mm or more.
Paint composition
A paint composition contains (A) a binder component, (B) a first rheology control agent, and (C) a second rheology control agent, wherein the first rheology control agent (B) contains a reaction product of (b1) a polyisocyanate compound, (b2) a primary monoamine having a number average molecular weight of 300 or less, and (b3) a polyether amine having a number average molecular weight of more than 300 and less than 6000; the proportion of the polyether amine having a number average molecular weight of more than 300 and less than 6000 (b3) is 0.5 mass % or more and less than 10 mass % based on the total amount of the components (b1) to (b3); the second rheology control agent (C) contains a reaction product of (c1) a polyisocyanate compound, (c2) a primary monoamine having a number average molecular weight of 300 or less, and (c3) a polyether amine having two or more amino groups and having a number average molecular weight of 1000 or more and less than 6000; and the proportion of the polyether amine having two or more amino groups and having a number average molecular weight of 1000 or more and less than 6000 (c3) is within a range of 10 to 30 mass % based on the total amount of the components (c1) to (c3).

Compositions with enhanced flexibility
Compositions are provided which comprises an active hydrogen-containing resin, a flexibilizer and at least one curing agent. The cured compositions possess enhanced flexibility while maintaining hardness, and are highly suitable for applications such as coatings, adhesives, sealants, gaskets, industrial rubber goods, and the like.
WATERBORNE SILICONE ACRYLIC RESIN SYSTEMS AND COATINGS
The present application relates to a waterborne polymer system suitable for two-component polyurethane coating applications. Provided herein is a waterborne polymer system comprising: 1) a silicone-modified acrylic emulsion comprising: about 1% to about 30% by weight silicone based on resin solids; and at least one hydroxyl functional acrylic monomer; and 2) at least one secondary binder comprising at least one acrylic emulsion, at least one water-reducible polyester polyol, at least one polyurethane dispersion, or combinations thereof; wherein the silicone-modified acrylic emulsion has a Tg of about 50 C. to about 20 C.; and wherein a hydroxyl equivalent weight (OH EW) of the silicone-modified acrylic emulsion is about 400 g solid/mol or less. A waterborne coating is also disclosed comprising the waterborne polymer system described herein. These waterborne polymer system and two-component water-borne coating compositions including the silicone-modified acrylic emulsion are capable of achieving high chemical resistance, strong adhesion, especially after weathering, and excellent scratch and mar resistance at low gloss.
