Coating agent compositions that are suitable for dip coating and that cure at low temperature
Aqueous coating compositions are provided. The aqueous compositions include at least one type of organic polymer particles having an average particle size of 10 to 1000 nm, including isocyanate-reactive polymers (A), one or more ketoxime- and/or pyrazole-blocked polyisocyanates (B) including at least one aromatic hydrocarbyl radical or at least one cycloaliphatic hydrocarbyl radical, at least one polyanionic polymer (C), at least one complex fluoride (D) selected from the group consisting of hexa- or tetrafluorides of metallic elements of groups IVb, Vb and VIb of the Periodic Table of the Elements, and at least one aminosilane (E), wherein the aqueous coating compositions have a pH of 3 to 5, and have a total solids content of 5% to 35% by weight. Also provided are processes for producing these aqueous coating compositions, processes for coating metal ion-releasing surfaces with the aqueous coating compositions, and coatings obtained therefrom.
CURABLE COMPOSITION, CURED PRODUCT, FIBER-REINFORCED COMPOSITE MATERIAL, AND MOLDED ARTICLE
The present invention provides a curable composition containing a urethane-modified epoxy resin (A) as an essential component of a main agent and an acid anhydride (B) as an essential component of a curing agent, the urethane-modified epoxy resin (A) being a reaction product obtained by using a polyisocyanate compound (a1), a polyether polyol (a2), and a hydroxy group-containing epoxy resin (a3) as essential reaction materials; a cured product thereof; a fiber-reinforced composite material; a fiber-reinforced resin molded article; and a method for producing a fiber-reinforced resin molded article. The curable composition can form a cured product having excellent fracture toughness and tensile strength in the cured product.
THERMOSETTING ADHESIVE AND ADHESIVE SHEET
Provided is a thermosetting adhesive including: a polyurethane; an isocyanate; an epoxy; and a phenoxy resin, in which dynamic viscoelasticity spectrum of a cured product has a peak indicating a softening temperature in an area of 200° C. or higher and has no peak in an area of 160° C. or lower.
A POLYISOCYANATE COMPONENT, A POLYURETHANE FOAMING SYSTEM AND AN ARTICLE MADE THEREFROM
A polyisocyanate component, a polyurethane foaming system, and an article made therefrom, wherein the polyisocyanate component includes (a) a preformed mixture including an aromatic oxazolidone compound that is the reaction product of at least one aromatic epoxide and at least one first polyisocyanate having an average isocyanate functionality of no more than 2.7 and greater than 1.8, in the presence of at least one catalyst, the aromatic oxazolidone compound includes at least one free isocyanate group and at least one aromatic oxazolidone group, the aromatic oxazolidone group includes an aromatic group and an oxazolidone group, and (b) at least one second polyisocyanate has an average isocyanate functionality equal to or greater than 2.7 and less than 6.0. The second polyisocyanate is added to the preformed mixture to form the polyisocyanate component. The polyisocyanate component has a viscosity of no more than 4.0 Pa-sat 25 C., an aromatic oxazolidone group content of 2 weight percent to 10 weight percent based on a total weight of the polyisocyanate component, and an average isocyanate functionality of from 1.8 to 6.0.
POLYURETHANE POLYOL AND PREPARATION METHOD AND APPLICATION THEREOF
The method of the polyurethane polyol comprises (1) dissolving 2,3-epoxybutane and an acid catalyst in an inert solvent to obtain a solution A; dissolving triethylene glycol in an inert solvent to obtain a solution B; and dissolving epoxy vegetable oil in an inert solvent to obtain a solution C; (2) respectively and simultaneously pumping the solutions A and B into a first micromixer for mixing; (3) pumping the solution C and an effluent of the first microreactor into a second micromixer for mixing while carrying out step (2); and (4) dissolving the vegetable oil polyol in an inert solvent to obtain a solution D; dissolving epoxypropane and an alkaline catalyst in an inert solvent to obtain a solution E; and pumping the solution D and the solution E into a tank reactor for reaction, thereby obtaining the polyurethane polyol.
COATING AGENT COMPOSITIONS THAT ARE SUITABLE FOR DIP COATING AND THAT CURE AT LOW TEMPERATURE
Aqueous coating compositions are provided. The aqueous compositions include at least one type of organic polymer particles having an average particle size of 10 to 1000 nm, including isocyanate-reactive polymers (A), one or more ketoxime- and/or pyrazole-blocked polyisocyanates (B) including at least one aromatic hydrocarbyl radical or at least one cycloaliphatic hydrocarbyl radical, at least one polyanionic polymer (C), at least one complex fluoride (D) selected from the group consisting of hexa- or tetrafluorides of metallic elements of groups IVb, Vb and VIb of the Periodic Table of the Elements, and at least one aminosilane (E), wherein the aqueous coating compositions have a pH of 3 to 5, and have a total solids content of 5% to 35% by weight. Also provided are processes for producing these aqueous coating compositions, processes for coating metal ion-releasing surfaces with the aqueous coating compositions, and coatings obtained therefrom.

MATTED POLYAMIDE-PUD
Polymers are disclosed that incorporate portions of secondary or tertiary polyamide segments connected with polyisocyanates. These polymers have enhanced matting properties. The enhanced matting properties are from creating an inherently matt surface from the polymer without the use of any separate fine particle size matting additives. Conventional matting agents such as fine particle size silica usually results in loss of physical properties such as haze development and porosity in the coating from the matting agent. Composites and hybrids of these polymers and other polyamides, polyurethane with vinyl polymers (acrylates) are also disclosed and claimed.
FLEXIBLE ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE PASTES AND DEVICES MADE THEREWITH
This invention provides a polymer thick film electrically conductive paste composition, comprising conductive metal powder, a resin blend of polyol and phenoxy resin, blocked aliphatic polyisocyanate and one or more polar, aprotic solvents. In one embodiment the paste composition is used to form electrically conductive adhesive. In another embodiment the paste composition is used to form an electrically conductive polymer thick film.
