A paint composition comprises (A) a binder component and (B) a rheology control agent, the rheology control agent (B) comprising a reaction product of (b1) a polyisocyanate compound, (b2) a primary monoamine having a number average molecular weight of 300 or less, and (b3) a polyether amine having a number average molecular weight of more than 300 but less than 6000.
Antimicrobial thermoplastic polyuethanes
The disclosed technology provides thermoplastic polyurethane compositions having non-leaching antimicrobial properties while still maintaining good physical properties, methods of making the same, and articles, including medical devices, made from such compositions. The disclosed technology includes a process of making an antimicrobial polymer composition, where the process includes mixing an antimicrobial additive into a polymeric material; wherein said polymeric material comprises a polymeric backbone made up of urethane linkages derived from a polyisocyanate and a polyol; and wherein said mixing occurs under conditions that result in the breaking of a minority of said urethane bonds resulting in reactive isocyanate groups; and wherein two or more of said reactive isocyanate groups react with said antimicrobial additive to covalently bond said antimicrobial additive into the polymeric backbone of said polymeric material; resulting in an antimicrobial polymer composition.

Amine-functionalized polymeric compositions for medical devices
The present disclosure provides amine-modified polymer foams, which may be used for wound dressing materials. For example, the modified materials can include a covalently attached molecule comprising free amine groups. Such amine groups can be used, for instance, to conjugate biologically active polypeptides and/or linkers. Methods for using modified polymers are also provided.

Polyurethane foam materials having reduced cold-flow effect and method for producing same
The invention relates to a method for producing soft polyurethane foam obtained by reacting a composition containing a component A1 containing at least one filled polyol, a component A2 containing compounds reactive with isocyanates and having a hydroxyl value of 20 to <100 mg KOH/g, the component A2 not containing any filled polyol, a component A3 containing water and/or at least one physical blowing agent, a component A4 containing auxiliary agents and additives, and a component B containing di- and/or polyisocyanates, characterized in that the reaction occurs in the presence of 0.5 to 3 parts by weight of an organic urea derivative as component C, which is obtained by reacting urea with a difunctional amine having a number-average molecular weight of 200 to 1000 g/mol. The invention also relates to a soft polyurethane foam obtainable by the method.
Polyisocyanate composition, polyurethane resin, and coating
A polyisocyanate composition includes at least a pentamethylenediisocyanate derivative. The polyisocyanate composition contains 5 mass % or more and 95 mass % or less of a uretdione derivative composed of an isocyanate bimolecular-product of pentamethylenediisocyanate.

It further relates to a process for producing the polymer, to a composition comprising the polymer and an active ingredient, and to a method for controlling phytopathogenic fungi or undesired vegetation or insect or acarid infestations or for regulating the growth of plants.
