An aqueous polyurethane dispersion includes particles of polyurethane in water, wherein the polyurethane is derived from an organic diisocyanate, a hydrophilic monomer, a neutralizer, a chain extender, and a polyester resin, the polyester resin being a random copolymer having randomly distributed subunits of formula 1: ##STR00001##
where: R is ethylene, octylene, or decylene, a is from about 40 to about 100 mole % of the polyester resin, b is from 0 to about 30 mole % of the polyester resin, c is from 0 to about 30 mole % of the polyester resin, and a+b+c=100 mole % of the polyester resin.

A mixture of water-emulsifiable isocyanates is described. The mixture contains (A) at least one polyisocyanate (a), (B) at least one emulsifier obtained by reacting at least one polyisocyanate with at least one polyether alcohol having a molecular weight of less than 400 g/mol, (C) at least one emulsifier obtained by reacting at least one polyisocyanate with at least one polyether alcohol having a molecular weight of greater than 450 g/mol, and (D) optionally at least one emulsifier obtained by reacting a polyisocyanate with at least one compound (d) having at least one hydrophilic, non-isocyanate-reactive group and precisely one isocyanate-reactive group (group D2). The weight ratio of component (B) to component (C) in the mixture is from 30:70 to 70:30, preferably from 40:60 to 60:40.

POLYCARBODIIMIDE COMPOUND, AQUEOUS RESIN COMPOSITION AND FOOD PACKAGING CONTAINER

Provided are a polycarbodiimide compound that enables an aqueous resin composition capable of forming a coating (layer) having water resistance and adhesion that can withstand use for food packaging to be obtained, an aqueous resin composition containing the polycarbodiimide compound, and a food packaging having a layer formed of the aqueous resin composition. The present invention provides a polyisocyanate composition comprising at least one isocyanate compound selected from the group consisting of an aliphatic isocyanate and an alicyclic isocyanate as a skeleton, wherein an average value of a total number of isocyanate groups blocked with a blocking agent and not blocked with a blocking agent per polyisocyanate molecule is 2 or more, and among the isocyanate groups in the polyisocyanate composition, 1 mol % or more and 99 mol % or less are blocked with a blocking agent, and the like.

An object of the present disclosure is to provide a novel golf ball having excellent spin performance on approach shots. The present disclosure provides a golf ball comprising a paint film, wherein a base resin constituting an outermost layer of the paint film is a polyurethane obtained by a reaction between (A) a polyol composition containing a polyol having a side chain and (B) a polyisocyanate composition, a loss modulus (E″) at a temperature of −50° C. is 2.0×10.sup.8 Pa or more, and a loss tangent (tan δ) has a peak with a peak height of 0.1 or more and 0.5 or less in a temperature range of −60° C. or more and −20° C. or less, wherein the loss modulus (E″) and the loss tangent (tan δ) are obtained by measuring a dynamic viscoelasticity of the polyurethane under specific conditions.

ANTI-PILLING MERINO WOOL FABRIC, GARMENTS COMPRISING THEREOF, AND METHOD OF FABRICATION THEREOF

The present invention provides an anti-pilling wool fabric with a coating having pilling resistance and resistance to fiber loss from fabric surface. The coating is formed by a coating formulation including at least two diisocyanates, at least two catalyst, a water dispersing agent, a buffer and water, which provides a polycarbodiimide crosslinker reactive to the relative less reactive groups on polypeptide of the wool fabric and promotes crosslinking between polypeptides of the wool fabric under relatively mild processing conditions so as to enhance mechanical strength of the wool fabric whilst no significant effect of the original finish merino wool fabric and/or garment and fiber loss from fabric surface are observed, compared to conventional treatment methods on wool fabric. A corresponding coating formulation and method of fabricating the anti-pilling wool fabric are also provided. The present invention is applicable to finished wool fabric which fibers are already with colorant(s), and/or dye(s), and/or reactive dye(s).

Flexible electrically conductive pastes and devices made therewith

This invention provides a polymer thick film electrically conductive paste composition, comprising conductive metal powder, a resin blend of polyol and phenoxy resin, blocked aliphatic polyisocyanate and one or more polar, aprotic solvents. In one embodiment the paste composition is used to form electrically conductive adhesive. In another embodiment the paste composition is used to form an electrically conductive polymer thick film.
