A cervical cup includes a body having a flange and a vacuum port so that application of a vacuum to the port will secure the cervical cup to a cervix disposed inside of the body of the cup. Example of the disclosed methodology to treat preterm birth includes inserting of a cervix into a cervical cup and applying a vacuum to a vacuum port of the cervical cup so as to secure the cervical cup to the cervix.

An intravaginal support device is disclosed, which is capable of being expanded and contracted in a state of being inserted in a vagina for treating pelvic organ prolapse. The intravaginal support device can include an opening/closing portion capable of switching operations between an open state for allowing passage of fluid therethrough and a cut-off state for cutting off passage of the fluid, a bag portion being expandable by flowing-in of fluid through the opening/closing portion and being contractible by flowing-out of the fluid through the opening/closing portion, and an insertion guide portion adapted to guide the bag portion into the vagina, the insertion guide portion extending along at least part of an outer surface of the bag portion from a vaginal orifice side end portion of the bag portion to a vaginal depth side end portion of the bag portion.

An intravaginal support device is disclosed, which is capable of being expanded and contracted in a state of being inserted in a vagina for treating pelvic organ prolapse. The present disclosure, in certain embodiments, relates to a flexible and non-absorbent vaginal insert device that is easier to insert and remove and is for use in improving and preventing symptoms associated with pelvic organ prolapse and urinary and/or fecal incontinence when the device is inserted. In certain embodiments, the device has an optionally cone-shaped upper portion that provides pelvic organ support and a removal portion or stem that facilitates insertion and removal of the device.

A pelvic prolapse treatment belt includes a main structural member having an inner and outer side for wrapping around a wearer including up to their hips. The main structural member includes a plurality of through-hole regions positioned to be located on respective sides of a wearer's spine. A compression pad is attached to the main structural member that has a wider top and a narrower bottom. The compression pad is configured for placing over a pelvic cavity of the wearer to provide support. A first and a second strap are attached to the narrower bottom and have a length sufficient for extending over the wearer's buttocks. The straps are sized for being pulled through the through-hole and have a distal end with an attachment feature for attaching to the outer side of the main structural member.

A pelvic prolapse treatment belt includes a main structural member having an inner and outer side for wrapping around a wearer including up to their hips. Bioerosion products are water soluble, bioresorbed, or both, obviating the need for surgical removal of the implant. Methods for manufacturing and using the drug delivery system are also provided.
