POLYAMINES AS ALDEHYDE SCAVENGERS
Disclosed herein are processes for producing polyurethanes including mixing (a) polyisocyanate, (b) polymeric compounds having isocyanate-reactive groups, (c) optionally catalysts, (d) polymeric amines of general formula H.sub.2NW-NR-[W-NR].sub.l-[Q-NR].sub.m-[SNR].sub.n-W-NH.sub.2 and optionally (e) blowing agents, (f) chain extenders and/or crosslinking agents and (g) auxiliaries and/or additives to form a reaction mixture and reacting the reaction mixture to afford the polyurethane where the polydispersity of the polymeric amines (d) is at least 1.2. Further disclosed herein are a polyurethane produced by the process, a method of using such a polyurethane in enclosed spaces and a composition including (b) polymeric compounds having isocyanate-reactive groups, (c) catalysts and (d) polymeric amines of general formula H.sub.2NW-NR-[W-NR].sub.l-[Q-NR].sub.m-[SNR].sub.n-W-NH.sub.2 and blowing agents including water, where the polydispersity of the polymeric amines (d) is at least 1.2.
POLYASPARTIC COMPOSITIONS
The invention relates to compositions for coating preparations comprising at least one polyaspartic ester compound, at least one isocyanate compound and optionally at least one additive.
Adhesive composition, laminate and optical article comprising the laminate
To provide an adhesive composition capable of firmly bonding polymer sheets together, comprising: (I) 100 parts by mass of an end-unreactive urethane urea resin; and (III) 4.0 to 20 parts by mass of a polyisocyanate compound having at least two isocyanate groups in the molecule, wherein the polyisocyanate compound (III) contains (IIIA) a polyisocyanate compound having an isocyanate group bonded to secondary carbon and (IIIB) a polyisocyanate compound having 4 to 30 carbon atoms in the molecule other than the component (IIIA), and the amount of the component (IIIB) is 10 to 500 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass of the component (IIIA).
Adhesive composition, laminate and optical article comprising the laminate
To provide an adhesive composition capable of firmly bonding polymer sheets together, comprising: (I) 100 parts by mass of an end-unreactive urethane urea resin; and (III) 4.0 to 20 parts by mass of a polyisocyanate compound having at least two isocyanate groups in the molecule, wherein the polyisocyanate compound (III) contains (IIIA) a polyisocyanate compound having an isocyanate group bonded to secondary carbon and (IIIB) a polyisocyanate compound having 4 to 30 carbon atoms in the molecule other than the component (IIIA), and the amount of the component (IIIB) is 10 to 500 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass of the component (IIIA).
Polyurethane-based composition
The present invention relates to a composition comprising: an NCO component comprising: A) at least one polyurethane comprising at least two NCO end groups obtained by polyaddition reaction: of a composition comprising at least one diisocyanate, of a composition comprising at least one polyol, B) at least one polyisocyanate comprising at least three isocyanate NCO functions, selected from the group consisting of biurets, of isocyanurates, of adducts of diisocyanates and triols, and of mixtures thereof; an OH component comprising: at least two polyols P1 having a number-average molecular weight of strictly less than 500 g/mol and at least one polyol P2 having a number-average molecular weight of strictly greater than 1000 g/mol, said composition comprising at least one rheology agent.
Curable Composition
The present application can provide a curable composition capable of securing processability due to excellent blending properties with a filler while having little viscosity change with time and for forming a cured product having excellent electrical insulation performance, and can provide a device comprising, between an exothermic element and a cooling region, a cured product of a tow-component curable composition including the curable composition in thermal contact with both.
Golf ball
An object of the present invention is to provide a golf ball having oily stain washability or weed juice stain resistance that is adjustable depending on a temperature. The present invention provides a golf ball comprising a golf ball body and a paint film composed of at least one layer and covering the golf ball body, wherein a molecular chain of a base resin constituting an outermost layer located at an outermost side of the paint film has a graft chain, and 80 mole % or more of repeating units constituting the graft chain includes any one of repeating units represented by formulae (1) to (4): ##STR00001## [In the formulae (1) to (4), R.sup.1 to R.sup.5 each independently represent hydrogen, halogen or an organic group.].

Polymerizable composition for optical material and optical material
Disclosed is a polymerizable composition for an optical material containing polyisocyanate (a) including aliphatic polyisocyanate (a1) and a modified aliphatic polyisocyanate (a2); and polythiol (b) having a di- or higher functional thiol group, in which the modified aliphatic polyisocyanate (a2) is contained in the polyisocyanate (a) in the amount of less than or equal to 60 weight %.
