The present invention relates to a dispersant having a tertiary or quaternary amine anchoring group and a solubilizing polymer selected from C.sub.8-50 fatty acid; a C.sub.8-50 ak(en)yl substituted succinic acid, anhydride or partial ester; a dimer or trimer fatty acid; and/or polymers from repeating units of polyesters, polyethers, polyacrylate, polyamides, polyurethanes or mixtures of said repeating units in a random or blocky copolymer. The dispersants are an improvement in that the alkylene connecting group between the tertiary or quaternized amine and the solubilizing polymer lacks abstractable hydrogen atoms at the geminal carbon atom from the nitrogen of the tertiary or quaternized amine over the prior art. The dispersants are useful as dispersants with improved thermal stability and low amounts yellow color after aging at elevated temperatures.

FLAME, SMOKE AND TOXICITY RETARDANT COMPOSITION FOR USE IN POLYURETHANE/POLYISOCYANURATE COMPRISING FOAMS
A reactive mixture comprising a Fire, Smoke and Toxicity retardant (FST) composition for making a polyisocyanurate and/or polyurethane (PIR/PUR) comprising material, said FST composition comprising: a) at least one compound having at least one ethylenically unsaturated moiety having a number average equivalent weight<160 g/mol, and b) optionally one or more radical initiator compound characterized in that the onset temperature for radical polymerization (T.sub.onset) of the ethylenically unsaturated compound with or without the radical initiator is 2° C. up to 40° C. lower than the maximum reaction temperature achieved during the process for making the PIR/PUR material (reaction exotherm (T.sub.reaction)).

LINEAR ISOCYANATE GROUP-CONTAINING POLYMER
A linear polymer containing isocyanate groups and having an NCO content in the range from 0.3% to 1.5% by weight and a monomeric diisocyanate content of not more than 0.5% by weight, wherein it is obtained from the reaction of at least one monomeric aromatic diisocyanate and a polyether diol having an OH number in the range from 5 to 21 mg KOH/g in an NCO/OH ratio of at least 5/1 and subsequent removal of a majority of the monomeric aromatic diisocyanate by means of a suitable separation method, and to moisture-curing polyurethane compositions having a monomeric diisocyanate content of less than 0.1% by weight, comprising said polymer. The polymer of the invention enables elastic adhesives having high elongation, surprisingly high strength and surprisingly good adhesion to plastic substrates.

CATALYST FOR USE IN BINDER COMPOSITIONS
A catalyst composition, binder composition, and method for producing a cellulosic material is shown and described herein. In embodiments, the catalyst composition comprises (i) a metal elected from a metal complex comprising a metal from Groups IB, IIB, IVB, VB, VIIB, VIIB, and VIIIB of the Periodic Table of the Elements; and (ii) a solvent selected from a dialkyl sulfoxide, an organic carbonate; acetic acid; a carboxylic acid, an N-alkyl amides, organic carboxylic acid diester or diamide or mixed ester-amide, or a combinations of two or more thereof.
Silicate modified polymer foam material for filling and sealing
A silicate modified polymer foam material for filling and sealing contains prepolymerized isocyanate and a silicate modified aqueous solution with a mass ratio in a range of 1:(1.2-1.4). In the prepolymerized isocyanate, a mass percentage of P is 4.4%, a mass percentage of N is 7.9%, and a mass percentage of —NCO is 11.9%. The silicate modified aqueous solution includes liquid sodium silicate, small molecule alcohol, water and a catalyst, wherein the liquid sodium silicate, the small molecule alcohol, the water and the catalyst account for 63-66%, 17-20%, 14-17% and 1.5-2.5% of the weight of the silicate modified aqueous solution respectively. A method of preparing the silicate modified polymer foam material for filling and sealing includes mixing the prepolymerized isocyanate with the silicate modified aqueous solution.
