PRIMER COMPOSITIONS FOR OPTICAL FILMS
Articles and laminates include a substrate with a first polyester surface and a second polyester surface, a crosslinked polyurethane-based primer coated on at least the first polyester surface, and an optically clear heat activated adhesive adjacent to the crosslinked polyurethane-based primer. The articles and laminates are prepared by applying a polyurethane-based dispersion and a crosslinker on at least one polyester surface, drying the applied coating, heating while stretching the substrate and the coating to form a crosslinked primer layer on the stretched polyester surface, and applying an optically clear heat activated adhesive onto the crosslinked primer layer.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A RING-OPENING POLYMERIZATION PRODUCT
The invention relates to a process for producing a ring-opening polymerization product by reacting at least one polyisocyanate and 2-oxo-1,3-dioxolane-4-carboxylic acid and subjecting the reaction product to a temperature within the range of from about 40 to about 150 C. in the presence of a catalytic amount of at least one non-nucleophilic base. The obtained polymerization product may be present as a foam and is suitable as binder, insulation material, sealant or coating and in the production of mattresses or wound pads.
Conductive Paste
Provided is a solderable conductive paste that cures at low temperature, that is excellent in adhesiveness with an ITO layer, and that is inexpensive. The conductive paste of the present invention includes: flaky silver-coated copper powder; a phenoxy resin; a hexamethylene diisocyanate-based polyisocyanate compound and/or a blocked isocyanate compound; a phosphorus-containing organic titanate; and an alkanolamine, in which a content of the flaky silver-coated copper powder is from 88 parts by weight to 92 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of a total amount of the flaky silver-coated copper powder, the phenoxy resin, and the hexamethylene diisocyanate-based polyisocyanate compound and the blocked isocyanate compound.

A polyurethane-ionomer hybrid resin composition for a golf ball cover having excellent elastic reaction force and backspin performance comprises 100 parts by weight of a modified ionomer having a number average molecular weight in a range of 1,000 to 2,400, provided as a reaction product generated by a reaction among a polyol including hydroxyl groups on opposing ends of the polyol, a monomer of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid having 2 to 3 functional groups, and zirconia, and modified in such a manner that a polyester oligomer in a zirconia complex state and a zirconia filled state is added to an ionomer resin to be reacted, and a portion of unsaturated carboxylic acid of an ionomer is neutralized to be zirconium and additionally polymerized to be the polyester oligomer; 20 to 40 parts by weight of a block polyurethane prepolymer with respect to 100 parts by weight of the modified ionomer; 70 to 100 parts by weight of the ionomer with respect to 100 parts by weight of the modified ionomer; and 1 to 10 parts by weight of a chain extender with respect to 100 parts by weight of the block polyurethane prepolymer.

An object of the present invention is to provide a flexible cured product capable of preparing the cured product having excellent electroconductivity and adhesiveness at a lower temperature, and an electronic device thereof. The present invention relates to an electroconductive cured product, wherein the electroconductive cured product comprises a resin having a urethane bond and electroconductive particles, the electroconductive cured product has storage modulus of 50 MPa to 1000 MPa at 25 C., and the electroconductive cured product has specific resistivity of less than 2.010.sup.4 .Math.cm.

[Problem] In a coating method of a two-coat one-bake system where a clear coat paint is coated after a base coat paint is coated, then these two coated layers are simultaneously hardened, adhesive strength between the two coated layers is to increase in comparison with the conventional method. [Solution] Provided is a coating method; A specific hardener is used in the clear coat paint. The hardener is one containing a polyisocyanate derived from 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate, satisfying all the following conditions: 1) Hardener does not virtually include diisocyanate monomer, 2) Viscosity of hardener is not more than 1000 mPa.Math.s/23 C., 3) Content of HDI trimer in hardener is not less than 60 weight %, and 4) Content of HDI dimer in hardener is less than 10 weight %.

DECORATIVE SHEET AND DECORATIVE RESIN-MOLDED ARTICLE
The present invention provides a decorative sheet that excels in moldability and a decorative resin-molded article that uses the decorative sheet and that excels in chemical resistance. In the decorative sheet, at least a substrate layer and a surface protection layer formed of an ionizing radiation curable resin composition are stacked. The surface protection layer includes blocked isocyanate.
Coating method and hardener for polyurethane paint
[Problem] To increase adhesive strength between an aqueous base coat layer and a clear coat layer in a coating method by a two-coat one-bake system where an aqueous base coat paint is coated, then a clear coat paint is coated, and these two coated films are simultaneously hardened, in comparison with the conventional method. [Solution] Provided is a coating method using a specific hardener in a clear coat paint. Namely, the hardener is characterized in that (1) it includes a reaction product of (i) a derivative of 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate including a trimer and virtually not including a diisocyanate monomer, and (ii) a compound having both an active hydrogen and a hydrophilic group; and (2) viscosity at 23 C. is not more than 1,000 mPa.Math.s. The compound having both an active hydrogen and a hydrophilic group herein is a compound having an active hydrogen-containing group and a sulfo group represented by formula (I), and preferably the sulfo group in a hardener is neutralized with a tertiary amine.

FLUORINE-FREE DURABLE WATER REPELLENT COMPOSITIONS
Novel treatments of fibrous substrates for obtaining a durable water repellent effect are disclosed. The methods prove to be environmentally friendly and allow the use of renewable starting materials. Specifically, impregnating dispersions, concentrate dispersions, corresponding kit of parts are disclosed, each comprising candelilla wax and a blocked isocyanate selected from the group of blocked-isocyanates having a molecular weight of below 2000 g/mol. Also disclosed are novel methods to prepare concentrate dispersions, impregnating dispersions and treatment of fabrics. The fabrics treated with the impregnating dispersions show unexpected beneficial properties, when compared to known treatments. These beneficial properties include improved water repellency, even after multiple washing cycles and for a wide variety of fabrics. The thus obtained fabrics are applicable in a wide variety of applications, including outdoor clothing and protective clothing.
