LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE
With the use of a photoalignment film, the present invention provides a liquid crystal display device capable of maintaining a favorable voltage holding ratio and reducing or preventing image sticking, stains, and a decrease in contrast ratio for a long time not only in a room-temperature environment but also in a high-temperature environment; and a method for producing such a liquid crystal display device. The liquid crystal display device of the present invention includes paired substrates; a liquid crystal layer disposed between the substrates; a photoalignment film disposed between at least one of the substrates and the liquid crystal layer; and a polymer layer disposed between the photoalignment film and the liquid crystal layer, wherein the polymer layer has a structure derived from a specific epoxy-based monomer and a structure derived from a specific curing agent.
RUBBER COMPOSITION, VULCANIZATE, AND VULCANIZED MOLDED OBJECT
Provided is a rubber composition capable of improving the scorch time of the unvulcanized product, and the hardness, tensile strength, and freeze resistance of the vulcanizate in a well-balanced manner.
According to the present invention, there is provided a rubber composition including a chloroprene-based rubber having a content of an unsaturated nitrile monomer unit of less than 25% by mass and an epoxy compound having a weight average molecular weight more than 100 and less than 900, wherein the rubber composition contains 0.1 to 25 parts by mass of the epoxy compound with respect to 100 parts by mass of the chloroprene-based rubber.
EPOXY RESIN COMPOSITION, CURED PRODUCT, ENCAPSULANT AND ADHESIVE
Provided is an epoxy resin composition containing (A) epoxy resin, and (B) a heteroatom-containing curing agent, wherein molecular weight of the heteroatom-containing curing agent (B) is 2001200, and ratio / of the molecular weight to number of heteroatoms in a structure of the heteroatom-containing curing agent (B) is 30/95.
Recovery and reuse of acid digested amine/epoxy-based composite matrices
A method for recycling matrix residues includes steps of degrading a target epoxy to form matrix residues, collecting the matrix residues, and adding the matrix residues into a polymer-forming formulation. Characteristically, the polymer-forming formulation includes multifunctional anhydride monomers and polyfunctional co-reactant monomers.
EPOXY RESIN COMPOSITION
An epoxy resin composition contains an epoxy resin (A) and an epoxy resin curing agent (B). The epoxy resin (A) includes an epoxy resin (A1) having a glycidyl group derived from resorcinol, and an epoxy resin (A2) such as an epoxy resin having a glycidyl group derived from bisphenol F. The epoxy resin curing agent (B) includes resorcinol (B1) and/or the like. The epoxy resin composition has from 7 to 60 mass % epoxy resin curing agent (B) content.
ONE-PART CURABLE EPOXY COMPOSITION
The present invention provides a one-part curable epoxy composition comprising: (A) from 20 to 90 wt. % of a non-aromatic epoxy resin, based on the total weight of the composition; (B) a non-aromatic curing agent and optionally a non-aromatic accelerator, which is a combination of a dicyandiamide and a non-aromatic urea accelerator, or a dihydrazide represented by the following general formula (I):
##STR00001## wherein R is an organic radical containing no heterocycle; (C) a UV stabilizer; and (D) a rubber with a core-shell structure.
The present invention further provides a cured product of the one-part curable epoxy composition, an article comprising the cured product, and use of the one-part curable epoxy composition or the cured product in electronic device.
