Resist underlayer film-forming composition
A composition for forming a resist underlayer film that functions as an anti-reflective coating during exposure and can be embedded in a recess having a narrow space and a high aspect ratio, and has excellent resistance to an aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution. A resist underlayer film-forming composition containing a resin, a compound of the following Formula (1a) or (1b): ##STR00001## wherein X is carbonyl group or methylene group, 1 and m are each independently an integer of 0 to 5 and satisfy a relational expression of 3≤1+m 10, and n is an integer of 2 to 5, and a solvent, wherein the compound of Formula (1a) or (1b) is contained in an amount of 0.01% by mass to 60% by mass relative to the amount of the resin.
TEMPERATURE SENSITIVE COMPOSITION FOR TISSUE ADHESION PREVENTION AND APPLICATION THEREOF
The present invention relates to a composition comprising an amino acid-modified polymer, a carboxypolysaccharide, and may further include a metal ion for anti-adhesion and vector application. More specifically, the invention relates to a thermosensitive composition having enhanced mechanical and improved water-erosion resistant properties for efficiently preventing tissue adhesions and can serve as a vector with bio-compatible, bio-degradable/absorbable, and in-vivo sustainable properties.
AMINO ACID-MODIFIED POLYMER FOR ADHESION PREVENTION AND APPLICATION THEREOF
Synthetic amino acid-modified polymers and methods of making the same and using the same are disclosed. The synthetic amino acid-modified polymers possess distinct thermosensitive, improved water-erosion resistant, and enhanced mechanical properties, and are suitable of reducing or preventing formation of postoperative tissue adhesions. Additionally, the amino acid-modified polymers can also be used as a vector to deliver pharmaceutically active agents.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING POLYOL
Provided herein is a process for preparing a heterocycle-functional polyoxyalkylene polyol, in which a polyoxyalkylene polyol having unsaturated groups is reacted with a heterocyclic compound. Also provided herein is a heterocycle-functional polyoxyalkylene polyol, a method of crosslinking a heterocycle-functional polyoxyalkylene polyol, a crosslinked, heterocycle-functional polyoxyalkylene polyol, and related processes.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS CONCERNING IMMUNE TOLERANCE
The present disclosure provides compositions comprising mannose-fused antigens to target mannose receptors. The compositions may be used to prevent immunity or reduce an immune response protein-based drugs that would otherwise elicit an immune response.
ALKOXYLATED PHENOL DERIVATIVES
Alkoxylates are described that are obtainable by (i) in a first step reacting a) one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of phenols that are substituted with one substituent, wherein the one substituent is in the ortho-, meta- or para-position to the OH group of the phenol and is selected from the group consisting of OH, R8, OR8, F, Cl, Br, I, CN, NO.sub.2 or COOR9, wherein R8 is a linear or branched alkyl group with 1 to 4 C-atoms and R9 is a linear or branched alkyl group comprising 1 to 22 C-atoms or a linear or branched mono- or polyunsaturated alkenyl group comprising 2 to 22 C-atoms with b) an aryl-substituted linear or branched C.sub.1-C.sub.3 alkyl alcohol or an aryl-substituted linear or branched C.sub.2- or C.sub.3-alkene, and (ii) in a second step alkoxylating the reaction product of the first step and (iii) in an optional third step reacting the reaction product of step (ii) with an alkylating agent providing a C.sub.1-C.sub.4 alkyl group, with a carboxymethylating agent, with a sulfating agent, with a phosphating agent or with a sulfosuccinating agent.
These alkoxylates may advantageously be used as anti-redeposition agents in laundry applications.
