A polyurethane catalyst comprises a sodium compound, the sodium compound being 1 to 60 wt % of the polyurethane catalyst by the mass percent, and further comprises a tertiary amine and/or pyridine compound. The sodium compound and the tertiary amine and/or pyridine compound achieve a synergistic effect; during the catalysis of the polymerization of isocyanate and polyalcohol, the speed of the polymerization reaction is increased; and the prepared polyurethane material has excellent physical properties, does not contain any heavy metal element at all, is an environment-friendly catalyst, solves the technical problem of ensuring environmental protection, safety and the catalytic efficiency of the polyurethane catalyst, and is particularly applicable to the preparation of polyurethane synthetic leather resin slurry, a polyurethane elastomer (prepolymer), a polyurethane coating, a polyurethane adhesive, a polyurethane composite material, flexible polyurethane foam, and a rigid polyurethane material.

Provided is an azeotropic and azeotrope-like composition, comprising (E)-1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluoro-2-butene, (E)-1-chloro-,3,3,3-trifluoropropene and 1,1,1,2,3,3-hexafluoropropane. The azeotropic and azeotrope-like composition has the advantages of low GWP, low thermal conductivity and low energy consumption.

A polyurethane foam composition comprising: (a) an isocyanate compound; (b) one or more isocyanate reactive compounds and wherein at least one of the isocyanate reactive compounds comprises an aromatic polyester polyol compound that is the reaction product of: (i) an aromatic acid compound; (ii) an aliphatic diol compound; (iii) a dialkylol alkanoic acid compound; and (iv) optionally, a polyhydroxy compound comprising at least three hydroxyl groups, a hydrophobic compound, or combinations thereof; and wherein the aromatic polyester polyol compound is liquid at 25 C. and has a hydroxy value ranging from 30 to 600; and (c) a blowing agent.

A foamed article formed by foam injection molding or foam extrusion of a composition is disclosed. The article is formed from a molding composition consisting essentially of: 100 phr of at least two different hydrogenated styrenic block copolymers (HSBC), a first HSBC and a second HSBC, having different molecular weights, a molecular weight ratio of at least 1.2:1, respectively; and a weight ratio of ranging from 5:95 to 95:5, respectively; 10-55 phr of a polypropylene having a melt flow of at least 2 g10/min; and optionally up to 55 phr of a plasticizer, selected from hydrocarbon based oils, fatty acids, triglyceride oils, and mixtures thereof. The composition has a melt flow rate of 2-50 g/10 min, a Shore A hardness of 60-90, a melt strength (F) of at least 0.010 N, and a melt strength (V) of at least 10.

An object of the present invention is to provide a polyisocyanurate foam having excellent flame retardancy and a heat insulator and building material comprising the same. A flame retardant polyisocyanurate foam produced by curing a mixture comprising a polyol (A), a surfactant (B), a catalyst (C), a blowing agent (D), a polyisocyanate (E) and a flame retardant (F), wherein the catalyst (C) comprises a trimerization catalyst; the water content in the blowing agent (D) is less than 0.2 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass of the total of the polyol (A) and the polyisocyanate (E); the flame retardant (F) comprises a red phosphorus-based flame retardant and aluminum hydroxide, and the volume average diameter of the aluminum hydroxide is not less than 40 m when measured by laser diffractometry; the total content of the red phosporus-based flame retardant and the aluminum hydroxide is 6 to 36 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass of the total of the polyol (A) and the polyisocyanate (E); and the equivalent ratio of an isocyanate group in the polyisocyanate (E) to the total active hydrogen groups contained in the polyol (A), the surfactant (B), the catalyst (C) and the blowing agent (D) (NCO/OH ratio) is more than 2.0.

The rigid polyurethane foams are produced from an isocyanate-reactive composition comprising: (1) a polyol blend; (2) a hydrochlorofluoroolefin; and (3) a tertiary amine catalyst composition.
