The invention relates to a composition Z comprising a component A, component B and/or C, and component D, wherein the component A is a thermoplastic material selected from the group consisting of polyolefins, polyolefin copolymers and polystyrenes; the component B is an organic additive selected from the group consisting of glycerol, a polyglycerol, a glycerol ester, a polyglycerol ester and a combination thereof; the component C is an organic additive selected from the group consisting of sorbitol, a sorbitol ester, sorbitan, a sorbitan ester, and a combination thereof; the component D is an inorganic additive selected from the group of layered double hydroxides.
POLYMER COMPOSITIONS EXHIBITING REFLECTIVITY AND THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY
Polymer resin compositions include a thermally conductive filler and one or more of a white pigment or an optical brightening agent. In a particular aspect a polymer composition includes: from about 20 wt. % to about 80 wt. % of a polymer base resin; from about 1 wt. % to about 70 wt. % of a thermally conductive filler; from about 0.1 wt. % to about 50 wt. % of a white pigment; and from about 0.001 wt. % to about 10 wt. % of an optical brightening agent. In certain aspects the polymer composition exhibits a through plane thermal conductivity of at least about 0.3 W/mK and a reflectivity of at least about 80%. In further aspects the polymer composition exhibits a through plane thermal conductivity of at least about 0.3 W/mK and a reflectivity of at least about 90%.
STORAGE SYSTEM AND STORAGE CONTAINER
A storage system includes a plurality of grid members arranged in a grid pattern to form a grid structure including a plurality of grid cells. The storage system includes one or more stacks of storage containers and each stack is vertically located below a respective grid cell. Each storage container in the stack is made of a material containing thermoplastic and a fire retardant agent. The storage system includes one or more load handling devices including a grabber device operative to move on the grid structure to releasably grab one or more of the storage containers from each stack in the storage system.
POWDER MIXTURE COMPRISING ORGANIC PEROXIDE
Powder mixture comprising 20-80 wt % of one or more powdered organic peroxides selected from the group consisting of dibenzoyl peroxide and substituted dibenzoyl peroxides, 20-80 wt % of a powdered filler material, at least 60 wt %, thereof consisting of a solid inorganic flame retardant, and 0-20 wt % water.
Thermosetting resin composition
A thermosetting resin composition contains a primary resin formed from mixing a styrene-type polyphenylene ether resin thermally modified with styrene with an acrylic-type polyphenylene ether resin thermally modified with acrylic at a weight ratio ranging between 0.5 and 1.5, consequently having excellent heat resistance, flowability, and filling ability; and when cured, having a dielectric constant smaller than 3.0 and a dielectric dissipation factor smaller less than 0.0020 at the frequency of 1 GHz as well as a glass transition temperature higher than 210 C.; in application, the composition is suitable to impregnate reinforcement to form prepregs with excellent curability.
FIRE RESISTANT CABLE WITH CERAMIFIABLE LAYER
A fire resistant cable comprising: a conducting element (2; 21); a layer, surrounding the conducting element, made of a ceramifiable composition comprising: a thermoplastic polymer mixture comprising: (a) a copolymer of ethylene with a C.sub.4-C.sub.12 alpha-olefin, having a density of from 0.860 to 0.910 g/cm.sup.3, a melt flow index not higher than 3 g/10 min and a melting point of 105 C. at most; (b) an ethylene homopolymer or copolymer of ethylene with a C.sub.4-C.sub.12 alpha-olefin, having a density of from 0.900 to 0.985 g/cm.sup.3, a melt flow index not higher than 5 g/10 min and a melting point of at least 110 C.; and (c) a polyethylene grafted with an ethylenically unsaturated monomer; at least 25 wt % of silica; a fluxing agent selected from alkaline metal oxides or precursors thereof; an inorganic hydroxide compound selected from magnesium hydroxide, aluminium hydroxide and mixtures thereof; a stabilizing agent comprising a hydrated magnesium silicate in an amount of at least 5 wt %; weight percentages being based on the total weight of the ceramifiable composition. Upon exposure to elevated temperatures such as those encountered in case of fire, the ceramifiable composition is transformed into a ceramic material capable of protecting the conducting element from fire and mechanical stresses. The fire resistant cable of the present invention can continue operating under fire conditions for a certain period of time.

SELF-FUSING SILICONE TAPE COMPOSITIONS HAVING CORROSION INHIBITORS THEREIN
Self-fusing silicone tapes contain neutral corrosion inhibitors therein such as salts of acids. Such tapes provide protection in an acid gas environment as well as under thermal insulation. The same also allows inspection of protected structure without removing the protection apparatus.
FLAME-RETARDANT POLYAMIDE COMPOSITIONS
The present invention relates to polyamide-based compositions comprising at least one filler from the group consisting of aluminum oxide, boron nitride and triclinic aluminum silicate and also the use of these compositions for producing products having relatively high flame resistance requirements, particularly preferably products having relatively high glow wire requirements, in particular components for electric current- and voltage-conducting components in domestic appliances.
