A polymeric composition including in weight percent of the polymeric composition: (a) 10 wt % to 30 wt % of a polyolefin elastomer; (b) 1 wt % to 20 wt % of a polypropylene-based polymer; (c) greater than 1 wt % to 20 wt % of a crystalline block composite; (d) 1 wt % to 10 wt % of a maleated polyolefin elastomer; and (e) 40 wt % to 80 wt % of a halogen free flame-retardant filler.

There is provided a multilayer structure comprising at least a barrier resin layer (X) and an inorganic barrier layer (Y) with a thickness of 500 nm or less which is adjacent to the barrier resin layer (X), wherein the layer (X) is made of a resin composition (x) comprising an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) and a polyamide (B) in a mass ratio (A/B) of 55/45 to 98/2, and the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) has an ethylene content of 20 to 46 mol % and a saponification degree of 90 mol % or more. Thus, there can be provided a multilayer structure having excellent gas barrier properties and appearance even after being subjected to stretching process or retorting process followed by bending process, and a packaging material for retort therewith.

A flame-retardant cable includes at least one core comprising a conductor and at least one protecting layer surrounding the core. The protecting layer is made from a low smoke zero halogen (LSOH) flame-retardant polymer composition comprising at least 70 phr of a polyethylene homopolymer or copolymer having a density lower than 0.90 g/cm.sup.3 as a halogen-free polymeric base, and: a) 100 to 800 phr of at least one metal hydroxide; and b) at least 10 phr of a tannin.

MOISTURE RESISTANT POLYMER FORMULATIONS CONTAINING PHOSPHORUS-BASED FLAME RETARDANTS

Polymer compositions containing a suitable polymer and a triazine metal phosphate compound are disclosed, and the triazine metal phosphate compound can have a d50 particle size from 0.1 to 45 μm and a BET surface area from 0.5 to 30 m.sup.2/g. The polymer compositions have improved moisture resistance and improved wet insulating properties as compared to polymer compositions that contain polymerized versions of the triazine metal phosphate compound. The polymer compositions can be utilized in a variety of end-uses, such as wire and cable applications.

FLAME-RETARDANT PLASTIC MATERIAL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

A flame-retardant plastic material composition including polypropylene resin, magnesium hydroxide, melamine-based resin, talc, rubber, and coupling agent, where the flame-retardant plastic material composition includes 30 to 45 parts by weight (wt %) of the magnesium hydroxide and 8 to 20 parts by weight (wt %) of the talc based on 100 parts by weight (wt %) of flame-retardant plastic material composition, and a tensile strength is from 130 to 600 kgf/cm.sup.2.

A high temperature resistant polyimide film and its preparation method. The present invention relates to a polyimide film and its preparation method and solves the problems of honeycomb's and skin panel's core adhesive-polyimide film with insufficient heat resistance, no climbing of bonding core structure and adhesive fillet formation. The high temperature resistant polyimide film is made by polyimide solution, inorganic filler modifier and interface coupling agent by the steps of: under specific temperature and stirring conditions, adding inorganic filler modifier and interface coupling agent to polyimide solution, stirring to obtain the adhesive agent; filtering and degassing the adhesive agent, casting to a stainless steel drum with carrier cloth and release paper to obtain a self-supporting film; then heating and annealing to obtain the final polyimide film. The present invention is applied to high temperature resistant polyimide film and its preparation method.

Rubber composition for a cover layer of a hydraulic hose, hydraulic hose, and method for producing the hydraulic hose

A rubber composition for a cover layer of a hydraulic hose includes: ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA); and ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer (EPDM). In an embodiment, the composition includes ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) and ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer (EPDM) and additives. The additives may include carbon black with a content of around 15 phr, silica with a content of around 20 phr, di-octyl adipate with a content of around 18 phr, aluminium hydroxide with a content of around 124 phr, magnesium hydroxide with a content of around 30 phr, and other chemicals with a content of around 20 phr. The other chemicals may include zinc oxide, peroxide curative, antioxidant, coagents and processing aids.

The invention relates to polymer compositions containing inorganic or organic particles which either have been surface-treated before the production of the compositions or are dispersed by special polyether-modified siloxanes through the production of the compositions.
