This application relates to elastomeric articles such as gloves, compositions for producing the articles and methods for their manufacture. The elastomeric articles contain particles for detectability of the articles (or portions thereof) by metal detectors and/or x-ray detectors. The articles may contain magnetic particles, highly conductive particles, or high atomic mass element-containing particles, and a viscosity modifier to ensure dispersion of the particles throughout the film layer in which the particles are present. The particles may be magnetic particles specifically, and may be coated by a corrosion inhibitor coating.

The present disclosure relates to hypercrosslinked magnetic particle with a polymer matrix and at least one magnetic core (M), wherein the polymer matrix has at least one crosslinked polymer having at least one hypercrosslinking bond, wherein the hypercrosslinking bond is a molecule having at least two nitrogen atoms within its structure which are part of the hypercrosslinking bond; and having at least one positive charge. Further, the disclosure relates to a method of preparing the hypercrosslinked magnetic particle and also to hypercrosslinked magnetic particle obtained or obtainable from the method. Also described is the use of the hypercrosslinked magnetic particles for enrichment or purification of at least one analyte as well as to the use of the hypercrosslinked magnetic particles for purification of water.

The present invention provides a polyimide composite having a structural formula of PI/Fe.sub.3O.sub.4-(-CD-Ada)x, wherein x=3-5. One aspect of the invention provides a polyimide composite. By introducing Fe.sub.3O.sub.4 as a host material of an electromagnetic wave absorption material and introducing a guest material, a repairing property of the material itself is imparted by an interaction between the host material and the guest material. Therefore, the polyimide composite has an electromagnetic radiation shielding property and a self-repairing property.

The invention describes the use of magnetic platelet particles as a multifunctional additive to various formulations of polyolefin plastic films usable to fabricate packaging and to provide said packaging with similar barrier properties as aluminium metallizations or other gas barriers, with the added benefit of allowing separation and recovery of the packaging by magnetic means. Such novel additives, films and packaging are environmentally friendly and food-safe, so that after use they can be either recovered for reuse, composted, or dumped in the environment to biodegrade. The invention comprises various types of films comprising the additive and methods to improve the properties of said films.

This invention discloses an anti-corrosion coating sintered at low temperature for steel rebars. The composition of coating includes 30-50 weight percent nano-silica, 20-40 weight percent flux, 9-20 weight percent calcium fluoride, 2-10 weight percent thickener, and 2-14 weight percent adhesion, agent. This invention also discloses the coating method of above-mentioned anti-corrosion coating. The method includes seven steps: 1. dry mixing, 2. wet mixing, 3. pretreatment, 4. coating, 5. baking, 6. sintering, 7. cooling down at room temperature. The coating of this invention has high strength, high density, high corrosion resistance, good capacity to bond with concrete, and maintains the mechanical properties of steel rebars.
