Portable system and device for cold therapy with optional heat and compression therapy
A portable system for cold therapy with optional heat and compression therapy is disclosed, including a body wrap cooling mechanism, a reservoir, and a control assembly. The body wrap cooling mechanism includes a compressor, a condenser, a fan, and a heat exchanger. The compressor has an air outlet connected to the heat exchanger through a first tube. The heat exchanger is connected to the condenser through a second tube. The condenser is connected to an air inlet of the compressor through a third tube. The first tube is communicated with the second tube, and the second tube is communicated with the third tube. The fan has a working surface facing the condenser. The liquid in the reservoir flows into the first body wrap through a liquid outlet of the reservoir, and liquid in the first body wrap flows into the reservoir through a liquid inlet of the reservoir.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR WARM GAS THERAPY
Devices and method for warm gas therapy is provided. Device comprises a gas warmer assembly to warm a first gas to a temperature in a first temperature range to obtain warm first gas. The device comprises a first delivery unit that can deliver the warm first gas to a main treatment chamber which encloses a sub-treatment chamber to retain heat therein. A second delivery unit can receive a therapeutic gas from a gas supply. The second delivery unit comprises a first portion and a second portion. The first portion substantially passes through the first delivery unit and therapeutic gas in the first portion is warmed by the warm first gas. The second portion delivers the warm therapeutic gas to a sub-treatment chamber. The sub-treatment chamber encloses a body part of a patient.
Hose Connection for Convective System
At least some aspects of the present disclosure feature a convective system, comprising: an inflatable convective device and a hose configured to connect to the inflatable convective device to an inflation medium source. The convective device has a pneumatic structure and an opening into the pneumatic structure, where at least part of the convective device is air permeable. The hose includes a nozzle configured to insert into the opening and a hindrance device disposed on the nozzle, where the hindrance device is configured to prevent the hose from slipping from the opening.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ESOPHAGEAL COOLING
A balloon catheter is used in a closed-loop heat exchange system for manipulating the temperature of a patient. The balloon catheter is positioned in the stomach of the patient, and then expanded with a heat exchange fluid delivered through a lumen formed in the shaft of the catheter. The balloon catheter comes into contact with the wall of the stomach, and the stomach substantially conforms around the expanded balloon catheter. The heat exchange fluid is allowed to flow continuously into and out of the balloon catheter. Heat is exchanged between the balloon catheter and the stomach so as to controllably alter the temperature of at least a portion of the patient. Anti-shivering mechanisms and automatic control based on temperature feedback from the patient may be used in connection with the heat exchange system.
Steam therapy equipment for good health and wellness
A steam therapy equipment including a vessel for heating a mixture of water and organic materials, a compressor to inject pressurized air into the vessel producing pressurized steam. The pressurized steam is conducted into the equipment via one or more valves. The therapy equipment is formed from at least one panel and may include a supporting frame. The therapy equipment includes a temperature sensor to measure the temperature inside the therapy equipment when pressurized steam is admitted via the valves. A patient enters the equipment and is exposed to the pressurized steam, causing dilation of the skin pores of the patient, whereby toxins are removed from the patient. One or more applicators may conduct pressurized steam to specific portions of the body of the patient. The patient may be provided with a portion of the mixture to consume as part of the steam therapy treatment.
Whole-body hyperthermia system
A whole-body hyperthermia system for raising the body temperature of the entire body of an individual to a predetermined target temperature and for stabilizing the body temperature at the target temperature comprises an apparatus means for raising the body temperature at a rate of at least 1? C./hour, and at least a second thermal means for further adjusting the body temperature to the target temperature Tb. The second thermal means comprises a fluid circuit, which is at least partially within the individual, and a fluid, heated by a heat exchanger to a set temperature is circulated through the fluid circuit.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REGULATING CORE BODY TEMPERATURE
A method for maintaining and/or increasing body temperature of a patient may involve delivering heat to a first location on a limb of the patient, delivering heat to a second location on the limb, apart from the first location, and applying intermittent compression to a third location on the limb, located between the first location and the second location. A device for maintaining and/or increasing body temperature of a patient may include a sleeve for positioning over at least part of one of the patient's limbs, first and second heat delivery members coupled with the sleeve, and an intermittent compression member coupled with the sleeve between the first and second heat delivery members.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL WEARING DEVICE
The present disclosure is related to a multifunctional wearing device. The multifunctional wearing device includes a spectacle frame, a light-transmitting container, a liquid storage chamber and an oscillator. The light-transmitting container is fixed in the spectacle frame, and the light-transmitting container has an enclosed accommodating space. The liquid storage chamber is arranged in the enclosed accommodating space of the light-transmitting container to store a liquid. The oscillator is installed on the liquid storage chamber to convert the liquid into fog stored in the enclosed accommodating space of the light-transmitting container.
AIR FLOW SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AIR CIRCULATION THERAPY
The air flow system includes a hose member having an exterior flow tube and an interior flow tube, a distal connector, and a proximal connector. The air flow in the interior flow tube is separate from the exterior flow tube. Air flows from the exterior flow tube, through a flow chamber, around a treatment site of inflammation and back to the interior flow tube. The system for air circulation therapy also includes a body attachment device, an air pump supply, an air recovery unit, a temperature sensor, an air flow sensor, and a controller.
