A cooling sheet is provided. The cooling sheet according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a moisture storage layer which stores therein moisture, an absorbing layer which is fused to one surface of the moisture storage layer to absorb the moisture and is applied with microcapsules containing a functional material, and a water repellent layer which is fused to the other surface of the moisture storage layer to be in contact with skin, prevents the moisture from escaping and absorbs air from outside. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a cooling sensation using heat of evaporation when in contact with skin while preventing moisture from escaping to the outside along seam lines.

The system also includes a recharging device configured to receive the control unit, the recharging device including a reed switch, wherein when the magnet in the control unit is located proximate to the reed switch, the switch is activated.

DEVICES AND METHODS FOR SLURRY GENERATION
20210275351 · 2021-09-09 ·

The present invention involves the use of a small profile device for preparation and/or delivery of cold slurry into the human body. The cold slurry can be generated within the device itself or within a separate small chamber, both of which produce a cold slurry using a cooling source and an injectable fluid. The delivery device provides continued agitation to the fluid/slurry through rotation and/or vibration of blades within the device. The fluid/cold slurry is cooled/kept cool through the use of an external cooling device, such as a cooling sleeve, that at least partially surrounds the delivery device. The cooling sleeve can cool or maintain the temperature of the cold slurry through a number of mechanisms. The cold slurry can be delivered using a device in accordance with the present invention to any tissue inside the body, including subcutaneous fat, visceral fat, and brown fat.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DERMATOLOGICAL HYPOPIGMENTATION

Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure provide method and apparatus for effecting (e.g., lightening) an appearance of skin by cooling or freezing small separated surface regions of the skin to produce regions of local hypopigmentation. The width of the regions can be, for example, smaller than about 1 mm or 0.5 mm, and a distance between these frozen regions can be greater than about 3 times the width of the regions. An exemplary apparatus can be provided that includes a plurality of spatially-separated thermally conductive arrangements that can be affixed or otherwise coupled to a base. For example, the conductive arrangements can be regions of conductive material provided in or proximal to a thermal insulator, or thermally conductive protrusions affixed to the base. The conductive arrangements can be cooled and then contacted with the skin surface to produce the small regions of hypopigmentation.
