The controller is provided on the electrical cord for controlling the heated eye mask to heat to one of at least four pre-set temperature levels.
ENERGY TRANSMISSION MODULE FOR VAGINAL CANAL TREATMENT APPARATUS, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SAME, AND TREATMENT METHOD USING SAME
The present invention relates to an energy transmission module for a vaginal canal treatment apparatus, a method for controlling same, and a treatment method using same according to the present invention allow transmission of energy by means of insertion into the vaginal canal and expansion of the vaginal canal, and thus allow treatment by selectively or complexly generating denaturation such as coagulation and ablation over a large area in a short time, allow one-shot treatment, and allow treatment of an area with folds. Therefore, the efficiency and accuracy of the treatment can be enhanced. Since the tissue in the vaginal canal can be treated even without a surgical operation, user's pain and discomfort can be minimized.
MODULAR PHYSIO TAPE WITH THERMAL PROPERTIES
A modular kinesiology or physio tape adapted to produce heating or cooling. The tape includes a layer of material having a chamber for retention and release of a removable packet of cooling or heating material and a mechanism for securing the layer directly onto skin of a user. The removable packet of cooling or heating material has dimensions optimized for manual insertion into and removal from the chamber. Preferably, the material is flexible and includes an adhesive for securing the layer to the skin. The material has a first surface for contacting skin, a second surface parallel to the first surface for receiving and retaining the removable packet and an edge between the first and second surfaces. In one embodiment, multiple slits are provided in the second surface having dimensions adapted to receive and retain said packet. In yet another embodiment, a heating packet is implemented with a button/coin type battery circuit with an optional mechanism for controlling the generation of heat thereby.
THERMALLY ASSISTED PULSED ELECTRO-MAGNETIC FIELD STIMULATION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF OSTEOARTHRITIS OF THE KNEE
A method, apparatus and a system for thermally-assisted pulsed electromagnetic field stimulation for treatment of osteoarthritis in the knee are disclosed. A multi-coil applicator is adapted for positioning around the knee. A first coil is positioned on the top of the knee and provides electric field stimulation in the plane of the patella to stimulate the patella cartilage. Second and third coils are rectangular coils wrapped up below and above the knee respectively. The coils in the wrapped position generate a magnetic field along the knee axis and provide high amplitude of the electric field stimulation of the femoral and tibial cartilages in the plane of tibial plateau. Resistive heaters and free wheel diodes can be provided to the applicator to supply uniform thermal stimulation around the knee joint.
GARMENT STRUCTURE HAVING ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM FOR ABUTTING AT LEAST ONE PAD UNIT FIRMLY AGAINST SKIN TO PROVIDE AT LEAST ONE OF ELECTROTHERAPY AND HEAT THERAPY
A garment structure having an adjustment mechanism for abutting at least one pad unit against a human body includes a garment body, at least one adjustment belt, and at least one pad unit being an electrode pad unit, a heating pad unit, or an electrode pad unit with a heating unit. The adjustment belt has one end connected to the garment body, and another end fixed to an outer surface of the garment body. When the adjustment belt is pulled tight, the garment body is dragged to move toward the skin. The pad unit is disposed on the garment body, and moves, along with a portion of the garment body being dragged, to abut against the skin. A user wearing the garment structure can pull and secure the adjustment belt to enable the pad unit to easily and quickly abut against the skin to proceed with electrotherapy and/or heat therapy.
NEEDLE WARMING SYSTEM
A needle warming system includes: a heating tube for heating acupuncture needles; a ring-shaped rechargeable battery for supplying power to the heating tube, and a empty space for fixing the heating tube for charging The battery accepts the charging of the wireless charging unit in a wireless charging mode; a display unit is used to display the working status and charging status of the needle warming system; the control unit is used to control the temperature of the heating tube, and the charging of the rechargeable battery, and display unit. The wireless rechargeable battery avoids the external power supply and the traditional power wiring obstacles; the creation of empty space in the center with ring-shaped rechargeable batteries and heating pads, medicine pads, etc., allows acupuncture needles to enter the heating tube, which is convenient for the implementation of acupuncture warming needles technique. Moreover, the whole needle warming system is compact, small and portable.
TREATMENT SYSTEMS, SMALL VOLUME APPLICATORS, AND METHODS FOR TREATING SUBMENTAL TISSUE
Systems for treating a subject's tissue can include a thermally conductive cup, a tissue-receiving cavity, and a vacuum port. The vacuum port is in fluid communication with the tissue-receiving cavity to provide a vacuum for drawing the submental tissue, or other targeted tissue, into the tissue-receiving cavity. A thermal device can cool and/or heat the conductive cup such that the conductive cup non-invasively controls the temperature of subcutaneous lipid-rich cells in the tissue. A restraint apparatus can hold a the conductive cup in thermal contact with the target region.
Devices configured to monitor biological parameters, and to provide treatment, at an Abreu brain thermal tunnel
Devices for therapeutic interaction with an Abreu brain thermal tunnel (ABTT) terminus. Such devices provide heat to or remove heat from the ABTT terminus, and may also provide heat to or remove heat from veins connected to the ABTT. Therapeutic devices for engaging with the ABTT terminus benefit from diagnostics obtained at the ABTT terminus, or from other locations on the body.
Method and apparatus for portably treating muscular discomfort
Approaches for portably and discreetly treating muscle cramping using one or more of a selectively controllable transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) unit and a heating element comprising resistive fabric. Cramping of the muscle may be detected with a surface electromyography (sEMG) unit. Artificial intelligence techniques may be applied using the sEMG signals and/or user input to identify effective treatment settings.
Cordless heating pad
A heating pad includes a heat pad with an anterior and posterior side. The heat pad includes a first layer, a second layer, and a third layer. The second layer is located in between the first layer and the third layer. The first layer is located on the posterior side, while the third layer is located on the anterior side. The second layer has a wire selectively heated to increase the temperature of the heat pad. The third layer is a reflective material positioned to reflect heat from the second layer towards the first layer, decreasing heat emitted on the anterior side of the heat pad.
