An integrated and modular air and lighting plenum that is the primary directional lighting mounting apparatus and laminar flow diffuser of an HVAC system in a healthcare setting. The plenum provides laminar air flow from the ceiling to the room in which it is located in accordance with HVAC requirements for healthcare environment settings, by using a plurality of cylindrical airflow outlets. The use of cylindrical airflow outlets promotes laminar airflow by reducing sharp boundaries that induce turbulence (e.g., the corners of rectangular or square outlets) and creates a highly sterile environment around the patient and staff in the operating room. The surgical lights used in the integrated air and lighting plenum allow the beam direction, spot size, focal point, brightness, and color temperature of the emitted light to be controlled.

A transparent cover member for a skin treatment device passes light and heat to a user's skin. The transparent cover member presents a comfortable flat surface at its exterior, and includes features that couple to a heating element that surrounds a plurality of visible light LEDs. The transparent cover member can include retaining features to assist in assembling the head assembly of the skin treatment device.

A sling is suspended from the top support member and configured to support a neonate. The sling comprises a pressure-diffusing netting material extending from a top end to a bottom end between opposing lateral sides. A heating coil may be configured to heat the neonate supported on the sling, and a sling controller may be secured to the frame and configured to selectively control the heating coil to heat the neonate. Additionally, a plurality of stretchable conductive electrodes may extend through the pressure-diffusing netting material and may be configured to acquire physiological signals from the neonate. The stretchable conductive electrodes may be configured to communicate the physiological signals from the plurality of conductive electrodes to a sling controller.

The wearable being configured to reduce pressure on the damaged tissue and adapted to deliver one or more treatments selected from the group consisting of heat, oxygen, electrical current, and light to the damaged tissue.
