Electronic skin rejuvenating device and methods of use
Provided herein are systems, methods and apparatuses for an Electronic skin rejuvenating device.
Athletic chair with adjustable heating and height
A seating assembly for athletes includes seats having a back and seat portion, a base, an adjustable element, a user interface device, and a controller. The back portion includes a back heating member that provides heat to a user's torso. The seat portion includes a lower limb heating member that provides heat to the user's lower limbs. The base supports each seat. The adjustable element is coupled to the base and one of the seats and adjusts height of the seat. The user interface device receives an input regarding a desired temperature of the back heating member and the lower limb heating member. The controller receives the input and adjusts an operation of the back heating member and the lower limb heating member to achieve the desired temperature. The user interface device receives a second input to adjust the a height of the seat relative to the floor surface.
METHOD AND APPARATUSES FOR MANIPULATING AN ENDOCRINE BODY-TEMPERATURE SET-POINT IN HUMANS AND WARM-BLOODED ANIMALS
A method and apparatus for manipulating a temperature set-point of a human or homeothermic-animal for increasing or decreasing the body temperature above or below the prevailing body temperature for therapeutic purposes. The method includes the steps of warming or cooling sphenoid sinuses externally resulting in manipulation of the temperature of the pituitary gland which in turn results in manipulation of the body-temperature set-point and the body temperature manipulates accordingly to the new temperature set-point. A heat exchange medium can be used to warm or cool sphenoid sinuses and thus the pituitary gland. The heat exchange fluid can be liquid, or gas maintained at a predetermined temperature. Alternatively, a temperature-controlled probe can be used that upon contact with the sphenoid sinuses provides for the heat exchange.
Apparatus and cosmetic method for providing cooling to a skin tissue treatment head
A device for cooling the skin tissue of a patient during a procedure using energy includes a mat-like structure, the mat-like structure having a bottom wall, a top wall and upstanding walls connecting the top wall and the bottom wall, the walls defining an enclosed volume; it also includes one or more electrodes positioned to protrude from the bottom wall and extend through the volume for connection to a source of energy; further, the volume defines a space for holding a cooling substance for cooling the one or more electrodes and the skin tissue during an energy-based procedure.
Noninvasive, regional brain thermal stimuli for the treatment of neurological disorders
Apparatuses and methods for treating neurological and/or neuropsychiatric disorders are by application of thermal energy to the patient's forehead region, for example, by maintaining a target temperature or temperature range to the forehead of a patient for a time period. In particular, described herein are regional brain cooling mechanisms to treat neuropsychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, and autism.
AIR POCKET-TYPE MASSAGE DEVICE
The present invention relates to an air pocket-type massage device comprising: a bed unit (100) which is for supporting parts of the body of a user; a massage module (200) which is disposed on the bed unit (100) and comprises a plurality of air pockets; and a position adjusting means (300) which is provided on the bed unit (100) and enables changing of the position of the massage module (200). Therefore, the present invention provides an air pocket-type massage device which, when massaging particularly the calves among parts of the body of a user, can flexibly respond to changes in the user's height by means of changing the position of a massage module by means of a position adjusting means and on the basis of the changes in the user's height.
COLD/HEAT-ASSISTED DISTRIBUTED WAVE VIBRATION THERAPY
Methods and systems for providing pain therapy by utilizing cold/heat-assisted distributed vibration therapy. The pain therapy device includes a plurality of vibration motors that are located along a grid. The device is portable and can be adaptable to the body part requiring pain therapy.
Pneumatic compression device with vibration and temperature control
A pneumatic compression assembly that includes a sleeve having an outer layer and an inner layer that defines a sleeve interior configured to receive a body part of a user, and at least a first vibration assembly configured to provide vibration to the body part of the user. A plurality of inflatable compartments are arranged longitudinally along the sleeve between the inner layer and the outer layer. The first vibration assembly includes a plurality of vibration motors positioned between the inner layer and the outer layer of the sleeve.
Heating device
A heating device includes: a temperature change unit that changes a temperature of a temperature change area; an induction unit that applies a stimulus to an induction area; and a controller, wherein the induction area is an area on skin surface, or an area that occupies a space that can be perspectively projected on the skin surface, the induction area is an area that does not overlap with the temperature change area, the induction unit applies at least one of a tactile stimulus and a visual stimulus to the induction area, the controller executes a first control for changing a temperature of a first temperature change area of the temperature change area and a second control for applying a stimulus to a first induction area of the induction area, and the second control is performed in accordance with the first control.
WOUND EDGE DIFFUSER
Disclosed herein is a patient interface for wound treatment and/or management, comprising: an interface body configurable to substantially or at least partially surround a wound, the interface body comprising a gas inlet and defining a first gas flow path having a first flow resistance, and a second gas flow path having a second flow resistance. The first gas flow path is arranged in fluid communication with the gas inlet and the second gas flow path. The interface body comprises or is configurable to provide a gas outlet at or adjacent to the wound site.
